I struggle with trying to hang pictures. That was the main reason for getting it. The ruler is a huge help. The rubber on the back is a great paint saver when measuring as well. So glad I got it.

I'm really glad that I have this tool. It's incredibly helpful to have both a level and a ruler in one tool instead of having to go back and forth, especially for shelf and picture hanging. And the sharp tapered edge of the ruler is great for drawing lines. I also like that there are measurement conversions on the back for length, area, and volume. So convenient! The level is very sturdy and well-made, and useful for indoor or outdoor projects. It has rubber shock absorbers on both ends, in case you should happen to drop it, but they are also removable should you need to get into tight corners or just not want them on the level (as I see some other buyers mention in their reviews). ... show more

I like this level with a built-in ruler, just what I needed to help me install shelves so they are flat. But do wish they had a padding on the back so they do not slide around so easily, while you're trying to draw the line. I may try to make a backing for you it.

Checks all the boxes. Included ruler already getting a lot of use. Doesn't mar the paint on walls. Highly recommend. I used it as soon as receiving to snap a couple of pics and email off the the guy that's custom building me an audio rack for some vintage stereo gear I have. Imaging trying to do this with a regular tape measure.. uh, no Thanks ... show more
