I had family from out of town staying with us for 3 weeks and needed temporary shades. I chose the black for maximum darkness. They fell down on the second day so I recommend putting them up and using two thumb tacks provided on either side to keep them in place. During the day the clips help keep them up but I needed one clip for every one foot of shade to keep them up. The set I purchased came with 6 shades total. Unlike my other shades, these came with tacks to help it hold its tape to the window frame with daily up and down. Some of the shades 2 of 8, are only held by the tacks. I took them down and used wide clear tape to assist. Looks and holds fine now.

These blinds would be perfect temporary blinds if they would stick to the surface! I purchased 12 of them and all but one fell down be morning. I used superglue to put them back up, which I will probably regret. They look nice except for some wrinkles from falling and sticking to themselves. The shades are fine for what their purpose is, however the clips provided are not good! I’ve purchased other types of shades and they supplied hard plastic alligator clips!

The blinds provide the expected privacy but their adhesion is just so-so. Luckily, I planned for that by buying several rolls of double-sided sticky tape ...and I've used over 18 ft of it so far! As for the length, just bear in mind that 69 inches is the actual length of the blind if all the folds are pulled flat ...it's not the length in its typically used accordian state, which is only about 56 inches. If your windows are longer, you could always buy extra blinds and cut them up to add additional length, if needed. For the price, they're workable since they're usually a temporary solution anyway. ... show more

Easy to hang and cut to size. Surprised how nice they looked when hanging. Unfortunately they just don’t stick all that well. Not sure if it’s the paint finish on my molding but they fell about twice a day. Basically like a post it note level stickiness… I did find that if you place the adhesive part vertically on your window or molding they seem to hold better. I did my kids windows like that first and they actually haven’t fallen off 3 days in. The rest of the house fell after a few hours. I ended up having to stick them vertically and added painters tape… ... show more
