The lamps are easy to install, the wiring is simple, and the brightness is satisfactory. The light has five colors to choose from, and each light has a wire nut. I hope there will be no quality problems in use!

Quality Wafers and Quality Junction Boxes. I've also purchased versions of these and not all are the same size. I have found that the color tabs on the wafer somewhat correlates with the size so be aware if you are trying to match existing there are a few variants of wafers running around. I will just use these in another room and not mix with others and no one would ever know. The color temp select is worth the price over the single temp, you can dial them in per room based on other lighting factors like windows. I like to go to the warm side and find 3000k is a great balance for clarity and warmth in a space made for living. I do have white walls and natural white oak floors so maybe another color temperature would work better for your space. These pop in easy, include wire quick connectors/nuts. They do not however come with a service entrance grommet. You will need those to technically pass code in the states. There are two styles, a plastic insert with an auto cable locking mechanism or the traditional metal ones with the screw to clamp. I prefer the metal since you know the cable is going to be secure. The junction boxes, depending on you AHJ, can sit on your ceiling material loose. (Some AHJ's require a fixed mount and its probably the better way to do it.) I plugged these into my power meter and they pull 12.0-12.4 Watts depending on color temperature selected, which is what is advertised! This is always important to me in the age of imports claiming radical numbers. Also means that each color temperature is 12W and not combined like some manufactures claim on the color temperature selectable bulbs/fixtures. I will update if I have any longevity issues.

At less than $7 a light these Miootly lights are a fantastic bargain. They are extremely thin and utilize spring clips to hold them in place. There is also an easy connect junction box which makes connections very easy. Most importantly for me the lights are dimmable and the temperature can be set. I wanted a warmer temperature in the living room but more brighter/whiter temperature in the kitchen. The quality of these lights is pretty good and I would rank them equal to what you can get in some of the typical home improvement box stores. I went with a star rating of 4 vs a 5 due to two reasons. Some of the plastic cutouts jut out a little (see picture) which prevents the lights from being perfectly flat. This is not noticeable because the gap is so small and the plastic cutouts are on the underside, however this small gap can allow some hot attic air to get in the house. An easy fix is just to file these down a little. This leads to point two, some recessed light makers add a thin gasket to the underside of the light, this also prevents unconditioned air from entering the house and in this case would have helped alleviate the small gaps caused by the cut out. Not a big deal but would have been nice to have a gasket.

I was replacing some smaller 4" lights in our basement office with these. The old lights had clunky cans that would never hold the light ring tight, plus the lights did not dim. So I thought I'd give these a try. The wiring box and light seem to be standard quality. I tested one out for a few hours to test for heat buildup, flickering, etc. It had none of those issues and at 3500K it matched the old lights so I went ahead and swapped the old ones with these, cutting the holes a little bigger with a saw. They popped right in and fit snug. These lights do not have a seal but in my installation I cannot feel any air when the AC is running. What I really like is how tight they fit to the ceiling. It makes for a very clean installation and with a Leviton dimmer I am able to dim from 10% to 100% without any issues. I would highly recommend these for a new installation or to replace some old can lights.

I like these LED "wafer" lights. Totally versatile. They are color temperature adjustable, dimmable and will fit where a "can" can't go. These are nice in that you can usually put them anywhere you need them in your ceiling without worrying about rafter positioning. As long as you have room for the junction box in your ceiling, you can put these lights anywhere you want them. They look great and work well.

I got these because I replaced the can lights in my house and the other set didn't have enough. These look exactly like the other ones I used. The only problem is that I didn't pay attention to the brightness when I ordered them. These aren't as bright as my others, but I think those are almost too bright, so these are great. The color temp options are awesome - just make sure you set them all the same before installing.

Did my family room with these. Nice and bright and color selectable. Installation was a breeze. (Mapping wasn’t) not sure how I feel about the quality. I’ve held quite a few different brands of spotlights but these just felt a bit dainty. Hopefully I’m wrong and they last a long time.

So far so good these went in very easy but like many of the other lights it would be nice for them to include a grommet where you punch out to run the wire. It was nice the push in connectors came with these lights. Also nicely packed as well! Looking forward to getting more installed.

So I have 6” LED lights that have gone out. Multiple have gone out and it hadn’t even been a year yet. I don’t know if it was due to quality control but they did. I got these as a replacement. These types of LED lights are great! They’re lower energy, brighter and dimmable. With these, you can change the color temperature from the junction box. You can choose from a cooler daylight color to a warmer color, depending on your preference. I leave mine at daylight. The junction box is nicely wired and comes with push connectors to connect your wires. Installation was simple. It does come with a template for making your cutouts. I’ve already got cut outs, so all I had to do was replace the junction box and wire the new light to it. From what I can tell, they turn on faster than my old ones. They’re a tad bit brighter also. Another thing I like about these, is that they handle dimming at lower levels much better than my old ones. At say 22% brightness they’d just shut off. These dim way further down until turning off. The build is fine. A smooth finish on the exterior ring. The lights are diffused by an opaque plastic. They clip into your ceiling and can be pulled out from the ceiling as well. I’d say a very good set of lights for an affordable price, compared to big stores. I’m hoping these last me longer than my last set.

Very easy to install since they clamp on to the drywall rather than having to install a can against the framing. great brightness and for the price you cant really beat them. we will see how long they last.
