    • This motor is NOT 24v or 36v
I am leaving 5 stars as my issues have been resolved, but read below before purchasing. This trolling motor is not 24v or 36v. I purchased it and hooked it up at 24v. The motor worked great, but Spot-lock would disable itself at times and Navigation would get off course. Also, the battery status for the trolling motor batteries showed a battery error icon on the remote. After speaking with Minn Kota and a Minn Kota repair center about my issues, they told me that this unit is not 24v or 36v. It is 36v ONLY and that, yes the motor would work at a reduced thrust level, but the iPilot system would not work correctly because it must be ran on 37.8v. I have now upgraded my boat to 36v and everything now works correctly. If you are restricted to 24v on your boat, do not buy this trolling motor as it MUST be ran on 36v. ... show more

After years of wear and tear and a knee surgery to repair trolling motor damage, this has been a total game changer. No more twisting and turning and fighting wind and current to stay on the spot. This trolling motor is not an Ipilot link model as listed. When you let the seller know he sent you the wrong model, he will play confused as if he didn’t know his listing is incorrect. Don’t buy if you want Ipilot link.
