Upgraded my Tracker Proteam 175 TF with this trolling motor. The power of the 24vdc and 70 lbs trust were a great upgrade, but the spot lock is a game changer. And another great benefit was not having that monster foot control. I love the remote. Easy to install.

Good all around unit with a cheesy latch.

Replaced a 2006 24v Kota 360 Saltwater unit with the PowerDrive. Wish I’d had this tech sooner, The spot lock is great and auto pilot works well both make the fishing more enjoyable. Deploying and stowing is a breeze compared to the scissor mount type old unit and on that note is my only VALID complaint. Caution: The latching mechanism looked cheesy to me right outta the box to me and I’ll be damn if it didn’t deploy on me running 33mph on its 5th trip. I chopped the throttle instantly as I seen it rising up in a NauticStar 22’ Tournament as it costed to stop it showered water completely over the boat, luckily it didn’t break off or damage anything. Temporarily for the trip I adjusted the depth collar all the way down when it stowed incase it deployed itself again. Easy remedy on my boat is a very short leash attached to a cleat directly under unit. It’s now impossible for it to physically deploy and only takes 3 seconds to latch/unlatch.

Works great. Having a remote is great for our kids on the boat. You don't have to stay in one spot. The spot lock works great and it has a lot of power for out 17 foot boat. Delivery was fast and we are so glad we bought this one.
