    • My second Terrova.
It’s much better than my first. Im a crappie fisherman so im spot fishing brush piles or bridge pilings. The spot lock is far better holding in the wind. The jog feature is to die for. Since I linked it to a Humminbird Helix 10, I can spot a brush pile on side scan. Put the cursor on it and hit goto and the Terrova takes me to it and automatically spot locks on top of it. If Ineed to move to the right 5 feet, I hit jog right arrow and it moves over and locks. Left up and back the same in 5 foot increments I can also lock onto a depth contour on the map and it will follow it at a speed I select. Great for fishing along a shoreline at your selected depth. Have no idea why I held off buying this motor! I have it interfaced with a G4N Helix 7 (*DEFINITELY CALL HUMMINGBIRD, GET A GOOD TECH ON THE PHONE AND CROSS REFERENCE THIS MOTOR BY SERIAL NUMBER WITH YOUR EXISTING SONAR UNIT'S SERIAL NUMBER OR ONE YOU WILL BUY FOR IT! *NOT ALL HUMMINGBIRDS ARE COMPATIBLE! MAKE SURE, I ALMOST SCREWED UP!*) I'm having a blast learning everything that is at my fingertips! PLENTY of instructional videos on YouTube! The spot-lock feature is worth it's weight in GOLD! This motor kept my 16.ft deep V Startcraft right at the edge of a weed bed in 25-30mph winds even though the fishing was impossible, VERY impressed how it held our position(Spot-Lock feature) in the wind generated whitecaps! This motor is everything I hoped for and I can't wait to spend the summer learning how to use my Helix 7 to interact with it! Don't wait, take the plunge!
