The media could not be loaded. The handle appears well constructed, has good appearance, and works well. Installation is very fiddly as you have to juggle several parts at once on both sides of the door - it is easier to install it with a helper. Furthermore, there were no installation instructions so I had to go back to the computer to watch the installation video in the listing. Once installed, the single page instructions were useless, other than directing me to an app to install. Once I installed the app I was left to figure it out - I finally did and was able to program the lock. After programming my thumbprint, it was about a 50% failure rate recognizing my thumb. I programmed several more of my thumb, being sure to use different parts of it, and saved them as additional prints. This helped the recognition rate greatly. The app has some interesting features - you can remotely unlock the door, and it records who opened the door and when (based on their fingerprints). I am not a fan of the fact that this uses bluetooth and an app to program - it will likely run through batteries faster from the bluetooth always running, and could possibly be hacked. ... show more

This door handle was really easy to install and program. I like that there's an option with numbers or fingerprint. I highly recommend this and gicmve it 5 stars.

You’ll have to rely on a simple video to figure out how to install. There are some parts like a spring does not shown in video so not sure where that spring goes. Might just return this product and get other products.

This doesn’t even tell you what size batteries to use!! It doesn’t tell you to screw in additional pinions before installing the lock…doesn’t tell you anything except…down the app and use Bluetooth!!! 🤨😤😠

This is a solid lock as it's construction is built well. The fingerprint sensor is quick to respond and the lock is quick to unlock. It gives an audible tone to let you know the door has unlocked/unlocked. The cons for this device is there's a connector wire that comes out of the main handle with the fingerprint sensor that doesn't appear to connect to anything. Also the also the battery compartment is hidden behind the entrance handle and will be hard to reach and replace batteries when needed. Some people may even have to remove the entire door handle to replace the four AAA batteries needed for the lock. Without batteries the Micro USB port works well to gain entry during an emergency. The directions for installation is non-existent and you'll need to figure that part out. The product only comes with a warranty card and instructions on how to setup the lock combination and how to use the app. ... show more

This lock is great for a closet that I keep special stuff in that I don't want anyone to access when I am not around. It is much better than the key lock I used to use as it was a pain to have to run around the house to get the key. Now I can just use my thumb or the combination to gain access. The media could not be loaded. This is a really nice fingerprint door lock once you get it all installed. So here's the catch which is hard for me to beleive but there is no installation instructions that come with this fingerprint door kock made by MINGOIA . Everything is all about the Tuya app but there is nothing about installing the lock it's self other then a template if you needed to cut a hole in your door and it is a nice template but most doors in todays world already come with that from the factory. If you have instal;led anything like this before then you will beable to figure it out, i took a few pics that might help some but the biggest thing is one you have to takle out one screw for were four triple AAA batterys go (not included) and just leave that cover off until your done. The other is you have to run the wire from the main door lock up through the square tube through the door and plug it in on the inside to were the batterys are. I used a little piece of wire to get it through because it just doesn't want to go throgh the hole it's really small other then that anybody that has installed a door lock before should be just fine. now that you got it installed but the battery cover back on and down load the TUYA smart app once you have done that go to your bluetooth setting and your going to want to pair your phone with T02 but you will probably have to open the app first and set up a account. Anyway once you get everything figured out this is a really nice Fingerprint door lock that has other options you can use to unlock your door, I used my right and left thumb for unlocking the door and also set a 8 digit pin just in case. it comes with two fingerprint cards so maybe if you wanted to let somebody else in you could just give them that card and then they could get in all i really cared about is the finger print lock because i already have a bolt lock with a code and i didn't want two codes to unlock the door. I just installed it tonight and other then there was no insallatin instructions i really like it, it's made solid not chaep garbage like some door locks are and when i put my thumb on it it unlocks right away so i'm happy with it. As long as you think your okay installing it i would recommend this door lock i think most people would really like it. I'm only giving it 4 stars and thats only because of no installation instuctions or it would get 5 stars. Thank You For Reading Well i don't know what happened to this fingerprint door lock but tonight i went and took a shower and came back to my room and it wouldn't take my fingerprint or the code, I kept trying for about 10 minutes and finally i just ripped the door handle off and it wasn't very hard to do. I really did like it but after that i suggest you carry your key with you at all times and don't count on this lock as your only lock on the door because it isn't going to keep anybody out other then a honest person. I didn't even use any tools to rip the door handle off so i can't recommend this lock anymore. Now i got to go change out this busted fingerprint door lock ... show more
