  • Hot Water Now!
Oh man, we love these! Our house has the water heater in the Master Bedroom Closet ~ which is on the opposite side of the house with all of the plumbing! Takes forever to get hot water to the bathrooms and kitchen. I got tired of hearing the wife complain about it, so I tried one of these POS (point of service) water heaters. It worked so great that I installed one for every sink and shower ~ five altogether. Now you turn on the hot water and it's there. No more waiting two minutes for it to get there. It's a snap. The installation is pretty straight forward, it comes with pretty much everything you will need for the plumbing. What you will need at each POS is the electrical ~ a duplex outlet. If you know how to run a line and install an outlet it's really a piece of cake. Otherwise you can have all or part of it done for probably not much more than the cost of the unit. But it's worth it if you want hot water now not later. Where we live water comes at a premium price so we are saving money all the time on that now. Glad we got em. They're keepers! ... show more

  • Buy a better one
Color: White Size: 14.2in x 13.8 in x 12.2 in
Had a 2.5 gallon that started leaking. Bought this one for more capacity. Poorly designed. Only puts out a gallon or so of hot water, then goes cold. If you wait 5-10 minutes you'll get another gallon. I would have sent it back but waited too long to install. Also, one of the supply hoses started leaking after about a month. ... show more

  • Working great
Color: White Size: 14.2in x 13.8 in x 12.2 in
I put the heater in my camper as it was over 500 and a pain to replace the stock gas one. I install it above my toilet and was easy to plumb and plug into my vanity outlit. I just turn it on high and run the first gallon into a bucket then shower until water turns warm then add some to the bucket then turn the water off at the shower head suds up shave after 5 min it's running hot again I rinse and use the bucket water to fi fish. I'm getting a better hot shower then the stock propane heater ever did and saving a lot of propane ... show more

  • Gives about 2.5 gallons of hot.
It gives you about 2 1/2 gallons before starting to get cold. Fortunately for under my kitchen sink when connected to the hot water line it allows just enough hot water to compensate for the cold that typically comes out before hot water from the household hot water heater gets to the sink. For me it works for what I need it and the price was right and I already had a 110v outlet under the sink. I would only use this for the same purpose. I would not purchase it for any other purpose. ... show more

  • Easy install. Easy install.
I purchased this heater to put under the kitchen sink in my house because it was taking far too long for the hot water to make it all the way across the house. I ran the house hot water line into the cold water in line “blue” this gives me 2.5 gallons of instantly hot water immediately then if that gets used up the hot water from the main water heater should take over. Installation was easy. I did need a small adapter to reduce the tank outlet to the proper size because the flex hose was not removable from my faucet so I could not use one of the hoses that was supplied with the heater. You can see the adapter I used in the second photo coming out of the hot water side “red” I did notice a few drops of water from the pressure relief valve but the instructions said this is to be expected at first so hopefully it stops. I ran the clear tubing from the pressure relief valve into the drain above the P-trap by drilling a hole just large enough to fit the tube in and sealed around it with silicone. I set the heat at half way. Any higher and it is too hot for my liking. ... show more

  • Decent heater, GARBAGE pressure valve.
Color: White Size: 14.2in x 13.8 in x 12.2 in
This is in a cabinet under our bathroom sink. Hot water from the The heater itself works well, but the included pressure valve is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE! It would not seal with the included washer. I got some better washers and used one. About two weeks later, the GFCI plug had tripped. I looked under the sink and that worthless valve had sprung a leak, filled the pan I had under it, and shorted out the internal heater wiring, popping the GFCI plug. Fortunately, once I pulled off the junk valve, and let the unit dry out for several days, it's working again. I would have been mad as a hornet if a cheap $3 dollar valve had destroyed that heater! ... show more

  • Small but good
I’ll preface this review by stating this heater is only being used for a single sink and a bidet in a warehouse. With that being said, I’m quite happy with my purchase. It was easy to install, the water can actually get very hot even if set only about 50-60% of the way and I haven’t had any leaking issues. I’m no plumber but I know to always use pluming tape when installing plumbing accessories. The item does require a decent amount of space. It is a two gal tank after all but other than that I have no issues; and it does fit under the bathroom sink pretty comfortably. The unit is used during the day time only and is shut off at the end of the work day. I’ve had it for a few weeks now and that seems to work really well. It also only takes about 10-15 mins to get to temp when set at 50%. It may heat quicker if set to max. ... show more
