My 6 year old in one day decided she wanted to learn to sew, crochet, and knit. I did not know how to knit. I told her she had to learn to sew by hand first. So we did that. She then said, now let use your sewing machine. I decided to buy her own. Choosing this machine was the best decision. It has a safety guard to protect her tiny fingers. It was easy for her to string, it is compact and comes with ALL you need to get going, needle, material, scissors, the works. It can be battery or electric operated. Itโ€™s overall amazing.     • Upper thread breaks constantly; VERY laborious to thread the machine

Cute as it can be- comes with lots of accessories- (but no project book as stated). I sew quite a bit, and found it was VERY laborious to thread this; you had to poke the thread THROUGH lots of hooks (approximately 8); once threaded, it would sew maybe 2 inches, then the thread would break. So you'd have to re-thread the machine. I tried new thread/ new bobbins/ everything I could think of. I had bought 2 machines (one for each grandchild) - and both did it. After almost an hour of continuous thread breaking, (and the kids stating sewing was NO fun!!) I packed it up and returned both of them. We then finished projects I found online (since no booklet was forthcoming even though I emailed) on MY Singer machine, and they were thrilled. ... show more

I bought RoyalsellPro sewing machine for my daughter's birthday. We tried to use it and were really excited about it at first. I showed my daughter how to use the machine (I'm experienced sewer by the way) and we could make several stitches. The machine worked perfectly. We've been sewing about 10 inches total. But then when we started a new piece of fabric (the one that was included in the kit) the machine suddenly got stuck. When I turned Hand Wheel the needle doesn't go down. There is a strange noise inside when I pushed the "ON" button on the machine or press the foot pedal. I sent email to a customer service. Their response was very promptly. They suggested the machine could be experiencing a jam. They advice to inspect the lower bobbin area for possible tread or fabric debris. They also mentioned the stuck could possibly caused by bended needle. I inspected the machine carefully trying all suggested solutions including re-treading. Unfortunately none of them worked. I sent another email to the customer service and they kindly offered to send me a brand new replacement. I hope the new one will work better as both me and my daughter are very excited to complete our sewing projects soon. ... show more
