It is a mini size sewing machine, but I am genuinely impressed by it feature and was not expecting it to be so easy to use. I am using mainly for small repair and taking on a project to trim my shirtโ€™s waist to make it a slim fit. I have not try using battery, and I donโ€™t think I will travel with it, but it is an option. A great entry sewing machine, and I am encouraged to do some leather craft in the future. ... show more

I tried the children's clothes and the stitching was very good, but I got rid of the bottom line. After checking the video online, it was immediately installed. The sewing and mending of the clothes at home can be basically ok

If it wasnt for youtube, i would've returned this before i even plugged it in. but the instructions isnt even the first of my problems. for $26, i get it, its cheap for a sewing machine, a mini one at that. but there couldv'e been a little bit more effort into it. Starting with the needle threader, of all things i didnt expect for that to not work. as soon as i tried to put the medal piece through it bended and broke. not one but two of the needle threader broke. i ended having to use my own just to get the thread through. Moving on to the stiching. At first it seemed promising then 5 minutes in it kept stopping to the point when i would hand turn it, the needle wouldnt even go down. as soon as i pulled it up to see why the needle woulnt go down, half of the needle came with my fabric. So thats one broken needle. I read the instructions and added the replacement needle and TRIED to begin sewing again. but guess what the bottom thread would catched the top thread. i search on youtube on how to fix and so far im being told that i need take the whole sewing machine apart. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! After what i thought hope was gone since the maching wouldnt sew, somehow the bottom was able to catch after constantly playing with it to make it work. I thought everything would go smoothly until i realised that one thread was stitching and the other was just doing nothing. not only that the needle AGAIN wouldnt go all the way down. i took it out and lord behold the needle is bent. i tried unbending it and placing it back in but GUESS WHAT. the screw to secure the needle wouldnt SECURE THE NEEDLE. SO NOW I HAVE A SEWING MACHINE WITH A NEEDLE THAT WONT STAY IN PLACE. but thats what i get for trying to v be cheap ... show more

This is a mini version of a regular sewing machine so I normally use it for craft projects like a Disney Mickey ear headband or other smaller items with my crocut machine.
