The look of this speaker is so cute with the unicorn. When it’s on, differently colored little lights turn on over the unicorn. It has a feature that changes your voice, which me and my daughter had a ton of fun with! The male voice is especially funny and kind of creepy in a fun way lol. It’s a lot smaller than I expected and was worried it wouldn’t have good sound but let me tell you this thing is loud! No issues there…except when you speak into the microphone, your voice drags. It’s not quite an echo…although I’ve also heard it echo too.!I thought it might be the voice setting im in but all of them are like that. It’s unfortunate because that’s the whole point…to be be to sing with it but I don’t see how anyone would be able to really do that with an echo.

This has been really fun to play with for myself and our almost 5 year old daughter. Both of the microphones and the speaker look and feel really well made. The speaker has a little weight to it. The microphones honestly feel like a miniature real microphone- the quality is that good. The speaker is loud and the sound quality is nice. I don’t have major complaints but there are a couple of things that could have been done better. The volume button on the actual speaker doesn’t turn down the mic volume. When our daughter gets a little loud, I just have to take the mic from her and turn it down on that. Also, if you change the voice sound on one mic, it changes it on the other as well. I don’t like that. Other than that, her and I both have had alot of fun out of this.

This isn't the loudest speaker in the world. But it's not trying to be. It's trying to be accessible with great clarity. And in that regard it scores pretty highly. All it takes to set this up is holding the power button on the speaker and mic, pairing it through bluetooth on your phone, and searching up youtube karaoke songs. That's it. Suddenly, you're singing along with it. It's only like a 2" speaker but it delivers for being so small and I'm impressed with how clear it comes across. It's loud enough to easily hear it throughout the room it's in and the next couple adjoining rooms. Further than that, it might get a little muddled. There's also a useful volume feature on each of the microphones. That comes in handy when switching songs that might be at two completely different volume levels. The only thing I can't praise about this product is how unintuitive it is with the colored lights. After using it for half an hour I still have no idea how to switch to a single color. It just keeps changing colors on me. Reading the manual might fix that but so far, I haven't had to. This is best purchased as an outlet for kids or as an access point for someone interested in singing that doesn't want to invest a lot of money to find out if they're good at it. You'll probably be surprised at how you sound with a microphone running through a speaker compared to how you sound in your car or in the shower. Everything in this set is usb powered, even the mics. Solid fun for most people. 5/5
