We really like espresso, but our machine has been unused because of the lengthy process, the clean-up and counter space. Overseas you find several styles of espresso machines that are very small in most homes and I've looked at the nespresso machines here for awhile, hoping for something similar. This beanglass 20 bar mini machine with a more economical price tag and footprint (13"x 4"), fits into the narrow space in our coffee/tea corner. It makes a fast, hot cup of espresso or lungo, PLUS you can customize this to make yourself an Americano or whichever size/strength you prefer-as long as there is enough water in the small tank. The only thing missing is a milk frother, but there are small hand-held ones to satisfy the occasional latte urge. I liked the white to match the water-boiler, however I'm not crazy about the high polish silver colored plastic parts (i.e. the tray and spout), which can easily start showing wear. I would have liked to see these out of metal, just like the operating lever (which in mho could be the same color as the machine), making it less cheap-looking and be step above the usual plastic import appliances. Also the pull-down tray for short cups with its plastic tabs will need a gentle touch. But it makes as good an espresso as the coffee you use, saving us a lot of time, no more waiting for drips with this coffee express!

I ordered this for the simplicity of making one-touch espresso on demand, using capsules. This 20-bar machine has a small profile and will fit in minimal space on most countertops. I like its long electric cord, making it easy to plug it in without moving the entire machine. I appreciate the buttons featured on this machine, both for espresso and lungo, as well as the flip-out two-tray option to fit the appropriate-sized glass under the spout. It uses Nespresso Original Line capsules or other capsules of the same size which are sold in grocery stores and online. I like how simple this machine is for making espresso since espresso normally involves more effort generally than making a drip coffee. I appreciate the easily removeable small water tank and how the capsules, once used, drop into a used capsule container. Its operation is very clean and simple, and cleaning afterwards is minimal. You can use the preprogrammed two buttons, and also have the option to customize the amount of liquid you get by pressing the coffee buttons for preferred lengths of time (the manual describes how to easily do this). The machine will memorize those personalized settings until you change your preferences. I hope this is helpful information.

So easy and convenient! Every time I walk past it in our kitchen, I want to drop a pod in and make myself a cup. This Beanglass Mini Espresso Machine is simple to use. It is well featured and easy to clean and maintain. Recommend reading the manual for initial start up and for learning the capability to adjust the quantity of water which the machine puts out for each setting as well as learning that you can also manually stop the water in a cycle if desired. I am testing different pods and coffees but this machine is great in delivering a piping hot espresso.

The media could not be loaded. I've had two Nespresso machines since 2013- one at work, one at home. When the first one died I replaced it, but the one at work has been chugging away for a nearly a decade. It wasn't perfect - this older model sometimes left a bit of grit in the cup despite several cleanings, and one of the buttons tended to get stuck. So when I saw this model available for review, I jumped at the chance. I'm glad I did. It's stylish and compact, and makes an absolutely perfect cup of espresso using the same pods that I've been using with the original machine. If there's a difference between this one and the branded one at home, I can't detect it in the function or in the coffee.

The media could not be loaded. This espresso machine is compatible with Nespresso Original Line capsules. It has a reservoir in the back and 2 options to brew espresso and lungo. The machine brews coffee instantly with its 20 bar pressure. It brews aromatic espresso with a lot of crema, too. After brewing espresso and you open the lid, the used capsule drops into the used container. It's compact and can fit into small spaces. I only wish it had a longer cord. I highly recommend this espresso machine.

Takes up very little real estate on the counter and is very modern looking. Heats up quickly and pours some really nice tasting, frothy espresso.
