  • Perfect Entry Point for Espresso Newcomers
The media could not be loaded. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As someone who typically prefers a full mug of coffee, I'll admit I was skeptical about diving into the world of espresso. But at this price point, the Heyuri Mini gave me a risk-free way to explore what all the fuss is about - and I'm genuinely impressed. First Impressions: Simplicity Done Right The machine's compact footprint is a huge plus - it fits easily on any counter without dominating the space. The sleek matte black finish looks modern and unobtrusive, blending seamlessly into my kitchen. Setup was immediate - just fill the 22oz water tank, pop in a pod, and you're ready to go. Operation couldn't be more intuitive. Two buttons: one with a small cup icon (espresso), one with a slightly larger cup (lungo). That's it. No confusing menus or complicated programming. The 20-bar pressure pump heats up remarkably fast, and brewing takes under a minute. The Espresso Learning Curve Here's where I'll be honest: if you're used to drinking 12-16oz mugs of coffee, those first few espresso shots will feel... diminutive. The espresso button produces about 1.35oz, the lungo around 3.7oz. That's the authentic espresso experience, but it definitely takes some mental adjustment when you're accustomed to larger servings. That said, the quality is there. Each shot comes out properly hot with a nice layer of crema (that golden foam on top). The concentrated coffee flavor is bold and aromatic - this isn't weak coffee by any measure. I've been working through different Nespresso original pods to find my preferences, and the Illy varieties have been my favorite so far for that straight-up, robust coffee taste. My wife, who grew up in Europe, tried a cup and immediately declared it "the best coffee I've had in the United States" and "exactly like coffee in Italy." Coming from someone who's genuinely discerning about coffee, that's high praise. For her, this machine was an instant hit - it brought back those vacation memories of European café culture. Practical Considerations Cleaning is straightforward - the water tank and used pod container both remove easily. The automatic shutoff after 30 minutes is a thoughtful touch for energy savings. The machine runs quietly enough that you won't wake the household making your morning shot. The pod system means no grinding, no tamping, no mess - just consistent results every time. For busy mornings or quick afternoon pick-me-ups, that convenience factor is hard to beat. Bottom Line Am I an espresso convert? I'm getting there. While I still reach for my regular coffee maker when I want a leisurely cup, this machine has earned its place for those moments when I need concentrated caffeine and authentic flavor in a hurry. For the price, it's an excellent way to explore whether the espresso lifestyle suits you - without the commitment of a $500+ machine. If you're wondering about trying espresso like I was, this is your gateway. And if you already love espresso, this delivers the goods without breaking the bank or taking over your counter. Pros: Compact size, fast heating, excellent crema, authentic espresso taste, one-touch simplicity, energy-saving auto-off Cons: Cup sizes take adjustment if you're used to larger coffee servings (but that's espresso, not a machine flaw) ... show more

  • Excellent Little Machine That Brews Perfect Espresso Every Time
This Heyuri mini espresso machine is seriously impressive for such a compact unit and the 20 bar high pressure pump delivers rich barista quality espresso that rivals much bigger and pricier machines. The quality of the crema and flavor extraction is noticeably better than lower pressure models and you can really taste the difference in every cup. The one touch operation makes brewing super simple whether you want a quick espresso shot or a longer lungo. You just pop in your N original pod hit the button and you’re done in less than a minute with no complicated settings or confusing controls to deal with. The programmable cup sizes let you customize your drink strength which is nice if different people in the house prefer different coffee styles. The 22 oz removable water tank is a great size cause it holds enough for multiple brews without needing constant refills but its still easy to take out and clean. The drip tray and used capsule container are also removable which makes cleanup way more efficient than machines where everything is built in. Build quality feels solid and well made not flimsy or cheap like some budget pod machines. The compact design doesnt take up much counter space so its perfect for smaller kitchens apartments or even office break rooms. Despite being mini it still has that premium feel and the curved edges give it a sleek modern look. Energy efficiency is another nice feature with the automatic shutoff after 30 minutes of no use which saves electricity and gives peace of mind if you forget to turn it off. The whole machine is lightweight enough to move around easily if you need to rearrange your kitchen setup. Overall this espresso machine punches way above its weight class and delivers cafe quality coffee at home without the bulk or complexity of traditional espresso makers. If you use N original pods regularly and want consistent excellent results every time this is definitely worth grabbing and the quality will make your morning coffee routine so much better. ... show more

  • Compact Powerhouse for Quick Espresso Fixes
I use the Heyuri Mini Espresso Machine at work so I can have quick and easy access to some great espresso.. I wanted something small to save space, and this is perfect. Performance and Extraction The standout feature is definitely the 20-bar high-pressure pump. While most standard machines sit at 15 or 19 bars, this extra pressure seems to help with consistency. It produced a surprisingly thick, rich crema every time—something that usually suffers in smaller, budget-friendly machines. The one-touch operation is as simple as it gets: one button for a standard 1.35oz espresso and another for a 3.7oz lungo. Both are just perfect, piping hot and delicious! Build and Design It is very lightweight but not flimsy, I was surprised at how well built it is.. Once the 22oz water tank is filled and attached, it sits firmly on the counter. The tank is removable, which makes refilling it very easy, although pouring water into the back of the machine is simple enough as well. Its footprint is tiny, which is a massive plus for my desk. Room for Improvement Noise Level: Because of that 20-bar pump, the machine is noticeably louder than the higher-end Nespresso models. It vibrates a bit during the brew cycle. If you are using this close to others you should be mindful of the noise. Final Thoughts If you’re looking for a compact, straightforward espresso maker that doesn’t sacrifice the quality of the brew for its size, this is a solid choice. It’s perfect for small apartments or office desks where space is a premium. It doesn't have the bells and whistles of a milk frother, but for a pure espresso or lungo, it does exactly what it promises. ... show more
