It is officially my new toy lol I have a lot of trees that needed to be cut back but being a female I'm not comfortable using a big industrial sized chainsaw nor did I need one just to cut branches back. I ordered this nit knowing how great it would be because the price was kind of cheap. I went outside to use this, and I didn't want to go back in the house. It is so small, lightweight and easy to use but cut back some very large tree branches. The charge on it lasted all day and was still good when I finally put it away. Nice little chainsaw, but the lack of an auto chain oiler with a reservoir is disappointing. I was not expecting to have to manually oil the chain. That is what happens when you buy cheap stuff.

Had to loosen the chain a little. Worked great trimming limbs up to 4" dia., which were as large as I needed to trim. Other reviews say the battery doesn't last long, but I'm 76 years young and I don't last long either!! Saved me from having to use one of my big chain saws. As much as everything cost anymore, this is a great buy. It's light weight and easy to use. The wife is using it now to clean out the small brush around a tree line at the back of out property. It has enough power shes been able to cut everything shes tried it on so far. Of course with in reason of the bar length. She loves it. The two battery's last her long enough that by the time they go dead, she ready to quit anyway. She usually works on it four to six hours at a time. ... show more

Let me start with this: yes, at this price, I would definitely recommend it. It does a nice job cutting. I don't think I would tackle a big job with it, but it seemed to do fine cutting some branches up to about a 2 inch diameter. But, a couple gripes, none of which would keep me from the purchase: - One of the worst instruction manuals, I've ever seen. I've included a snip from one of the pages, which are very tiny, by the way. Did they ever hear of a space bar?? And nowhere in the manual do they discuss charging the battery -- does the LED light go off on the charger when it's done? No idea. Between the verylongwords and the tiny size of the print and pictures, you almost have to put the manual in a scanner so you can blow it up a bit, which I did. I would certainly recommend that you have a basic idea of what to do with a chain saw before using this. - It is nice that they include a pair of glasses and gloves, but I'd rather see them dispense with that and include a small vial of chain oil to get you started. Again, for the price, it does work and is definitely a useful tool to have around. Overall, recommend. ... show more
