It took more than 6 hours to charge the battery. I hope it would take less time after the first charge. It performed well and had no problem cutting tree branches up to 4 inches diameters. Very quick delivery. When I opened it, I thought this thing is a toy. We had a bunch of broken limbs from our oak trees, due to bad ice storm. I cut two large piles of from 1 1/2" to 4" limbs . Worked hard for about 2 Hours. Saw is still going strong on first battery. Cut through the oak like butter. At this time I would recomend this saw. UPEDATE: Been using this saw every day sense I received it. Jus touched up the sharpness of the first chain. Still going strong. The batteries tak a little longer to charge up, but hold the charge through a lot of cuts. ... show more

My only complaint is that I’m left handed and like many things in this world it’s design favors right handed people in that the button to initiate the throttle is inconvenient for us lefties, but works pretty good for small hard to reach jobs.
