When I received the saw, I tried cutting a 2 inch thick stem sticking out of the ground. After about 30 second of struggling to cut the stem, the saw only went about a quarter of the way through. I charged the battery and tried the saw again the following day with the same disappointing results. I was getting ready to return it when I decided to inspect it one more time - this is when I discovered the chain was on backwards! And it had come from the manufacturer this way. After putting the chain on properly it works really well and cuts through 3 inch stumps in about 5 seconds. It's a handy little saw, but I'm wondering if a lot of the negative reviews for this product are due to the chain being installed improperly by the manufacturer. ... show more

I love the purple. I’m always out working with my husband side by side. I’m pulling, cutting, trimming, just like him. I’m excited to have a tool that suits my tastes. The size and grip are perfect. But the color screams that this is my tool. He asked me to borrow it and not the other way around. It’s easy to use. Nothing like a full size chainsaw with oil and such. It’s perfect for pruning and cutting down branches into smaller bundles. The blade is 6”. A true 6” blade, ladies. There are smaller blades out there. Get this 6” one. You’ll be surprised what an extra 2 inches can accomplish. Or maybe you already know. These batteries charge up in a couple of hours and last 40 mins. 40 mins might not seem long, but I’m never cutting for 30 mins continuously, so it’s definitely long enough to trade off from one battery to another and be out for a full day in the yard working. ... show more

I love the fact I can trim up my bushes and trees. Nice that it holds a charge for a really long time, not like one I bought before. That one I get about 2-3 minutes than have to charge it again. I do wish that there is a way to lock the yellow button because it's a little ruff to keep it pushed in while using. I have a hand injury but it's good for safety though. But I definitely would recommend this mini chainsaw.😊 ... show more

I love this product!!! Our local cemetery had alot of overgrown trees & bushes. A lot of graves you could not see Because of them. We used this saw almost every day for over a month.
