This product to some getting used to for me, but after a few weeks I really like it and use it everyday at work. During these first few weeks of use, I genuinely noticed the soreness in my lower back disappear. Product is made from a sturdy plastic, but is still susceptible to breaking under extreme stress. There is no locking feature for the tilt like there is for the elevation, but that allows for natural positioning of the feet/ankles depending on how you are sitting. As a 6' male, the hardest part about getting used to this product was learning to sit with my legs closer together, which was a little uncomfortable at first but easy to overcome once the benefits are noticed. However, even then my feet still frequently hang over the edges, and I wish that there was an option for one that was 4"-6" wider. The massaging texture is nice if you have an opportunity to rub your feet on it in socks (or bare feet if your environment allows), but is not at all helpful with shoes on. I had been using a foldable plastic stool under my desk to rest my feet. What a big difference this footrest makes!! The top of it is not fixed but tilts in either direction supporting the angle of your feet on it. I highly recommend this product!! The only imperfection is in the packaging and delivery of this product: it was delivered in its original manufacture box. The first time I received it, the bottom was broken during shipping and all the shattered pieces were in the box. So I had to order a 2nd time, and it arrived again in its original manufacture box. This time, the plastic tape was not completely sealing the opening of the box, and 2 metal rods fell out while I lifted the package and moved it inside my house. Thanks goodness I didn't lose the metal rods before it got to the house, or else I would not have been able to assemble it. Additionally, NO assembly instruction was included in the packaging. The product is adjustable, and is actually pretty sturdy, but you can't lock it into place, so your feet are going to rock back and forth the entire time you're using it. Personally, I really hate that. I do not need to be feeling like I'm rolling around ungrounded while I'm working, so this product isn't a great match for me. Some people like that feeling, so it would be a good match for them. Also, on its flattest setting, your feet will be about 3.5" off the ground. That's high enough to mash your thighs up against the bottom of a keyboard tray. So, if you have a keyboard tray, measure the height you need for your foot-to-lap situation to fit comfortably beneath the tray. Otherwise, it's a good product. ... show more

The size is good enough for a large tote if you want to take it back and forth. I have wide size 9.5 women’s feet & they both fit comfortably on there. It’s a hard material & easy to clean.     • Total game-changer for lower back pain at my desk!

I spend 8+ hours a day sitting at my computer, and by 2 p.m. every day, my lower back used to be in absolute agony. I didn't realize that my chair height was keeping my feet from resting flat, which was pulling my hips out of alignment and straining my lumbar spine. Buying an under-desk footrest was the best $30 upgrade I've ever made to my office setup. It brings the floor up to the perfect height so my knees sit at a proper 90-degree angle. The slight angle keeps my pelvis tilted correctly, which immediately takes the pressure off my lower back. I can actually sit all the way back in my office chair now instead of slouching forward or crossing my legs under me. The texture on the top surface gives a nice, subtle grip so my feet don't slide around, and shifting my feet on it throughout the day keeps my legs from getting stiff or swollen. First one arrived broken in the box. Had to send it back but received a new one ASAP. Compared to the memory foam foot rest I was using, the Comfy Rest is much better. It provides a solid platform for resting your feet while sitting in an office chair. There are three height settings and the top platform rotates frontwards and backwards slightly to allow for your feet to move a bit to help with blood flow. The Comfy Rest does feel a bit flimsy, and that makes me worry about the longevity of it. But for now, I am pleased with it and it does help get the feet off the floor and keep the legs from falling asleep while sitting in an office chair. ... show more
