I've been using it for a few months: It has not broke at all and I use it every day at my office desk. It seems like they have mixed quality control as some people have had this issue in the past. But luckily mine seems to be working as advertised. I like that the foot rest is adjustable, but sometimes the position changes while I am busy at my computer at work and I won't notice that the position is no longer comfortable until I take a second to stop. I'm not quite sure if my back pain has gotten better, but my alignment feels more comfortable when I'm sitting at my desk. My feet don't slip on the surface. I had been using a foldable plastic stool under my desk to rest my feet. What a big difference this footrest makes!! The top of it is not fixed but tilts in either direction supporting the angle of your feet on it. I highly recommend this product!! The only imperfection is in the packaging and delivery of this product: it was delivered in its original manufacture box. The first time I received it, the bottom was broken during shipping and all the shattered pieces were in the box. So I had to order a 2nd time, and it arrived again in its original manufacture box. This time, the plastic tape was not completely sealing the opening of the box, and 2 metal rods fell out while I lifted the package and moved it inside my house. Thanks goodness I didn't lose the metal rods before it got to the house, or else I would not have been able to assemble it. Additionally, NO assembly instruction was included in the packaging. Update. Had for a little over 3 years. Was very gentle with it, but unfortunately it broke. Plastic doesnt last forever. Still recommend, but personally going to try something else.

Seriously. I've used the folding stools and random items for years under my desk to rest my feet on. I've even used a rolling foot massager. For the last year it was a two inch box of shelves we never installed. Finally I ordered this and my life is so much better for it. It is adjustable to get the right height. I liked that it was adjustable but adjusting them was not a smooth process. I found the top did not lock in when you put your feet on them It was wobbly. I did try different adjustments to make sure it wasn't me. I think the floor bars being horizontal in front and back made it unstable. I use to use a old speaker to elevate my legs while sitting for hours playing video games and that worked pretty good. Sense I bought this foot rest WOW sitting for hours is so much easier! This can be adjusted to different heights. With sock on I can kind of massage my feet on this. Wow I dont know what I ever did with out this. I like it alot! I bought a plush foot rest for my wife and she loves it. I tried the plush one but I like this harder one better. Great product! Great price! ... show more

I bought this foot rest as I started developing back pain from working from home so much. I couldn't adjust the height of my table so I decided to buy this so I can prop my foot up. It works great! It came in one piece, no assembly required. Very easy to lift and lower. I have hardwood floors, and the rest doesn't move very much but I did notice that when I use my foot to pivot the top (it is free moving), the foot rest kind of slowly creeps away from me. So I recommend a little rug underneath for stability. I have it on top of one of those small fur rugs and it works perfectly.
