In terms of capacity, I would not recommend this basket for a household of more than two people, unless laundry is washed frequently. Also, not really large enough for bed sheets--just put them straight in the washer. Other than that, it fits the bill. The online measurements provided were accurate, and so it fits under shelf in bathroom just as we had hoped (we can easily open the lid and slide in the dirty laundry). Product has an aesthetic basket-woven look, is lightweight and stable (no tipping). Will know more about durability as time passes. I loved the size of this hamper. It is big enough for two peopleโ€™s week surplus of laundry. It is sturdy but light weight and easy to carry to laundry room . I love that it has a lid to close when in the room.

This hamper is small but mighty!! It holds all of my husband's clothes for the week and they consist of two/ three pairs of jeans, work shirts and the like for a week. He has never yet filled to overflowing because it is actually bigger than it looks. This product came in three sizes, sm,med,lg,. I ordered the med size/40 liter without even measuring and it fits perfectly! This product is also the most sturdy as my husband can be rough throwing his clothes in. Love it!!! ... show more

I bought the 50 liter in ivory and loved it so much that I also purchased the 60 liter in white. This hamper is very stury! The difference between 50 & 60 liter is the top. Both are great! Oh, another thing is that I purchased the regular version. I think new version doesn't come with cross stitching design. I personally like the cross stitching BC it feels more durable. ... show more
