Deck rail spruce up
I believe it to be a quality product, was delivered as promised, good power, a little bigger than I expected but I find it comfort and minimal vibration. Works well for my project.

great product
easy to use , the batteries are small so they don't hold a charge extremely long but we got the job done and could not have finished it without it. great for small hard to get to places .

Underrated sander times 10
I guarantee most people have not heard of this sander but man - did Milwaukee design an incredible sander. Make note: this is a finishing sander. It's not aggressive like an orbital sander but for what it does, I can't think of a better product. It has 4 speeds so you can go from really gentle to aggressive. I used it on my first project which was sanding the stairs. I used an orbital for most of it, but the corners and taking down material where the orbital can't reach - wow. It's incredibly fast, it doesn't vibrate your arm and it has so much power. It tore through the demands I placed on it using 80 grit. I LOVE this sander. It's just a game changer to get in tight places without resorting to the dreaded hand sanding! Unfortunately, getting sandpaper can be tricky to find since it's a specialty tool and nobody has heard of it. Glad I have!

Small size and ease of use a plus
Have used this often for small projects and detail sanding around the house. Works well for refinishing projects and tight spots. Quick charging and easy to operate. Redid window sills, small jewelry boxes, details on furniture and on walls after filling holes etc. Will use on some chairs next.

Great tool. Comfy to use.
This sander is perfect for sanding my 3D prints. It's comfortable to hold for long periods. I would definitely recommend investing in additional batteries if you plan to do projects that require longer sanding times. You can save money by buying velcro-backed sand paper and just cutting it to size. Works just as well, and offers additional options. I purchased additional batteries when the hardware store had one of those big sales.

Must have for cabinets and other intricate sanding projects
I did not want to spend the money on this tool, but using my oscillating tool with the sanding pad to sand my kitchen cabinets was not working. This is a must have - this tool gets in all of the corners and in the detailed parts of the wood. It’s very easy to control, very lightweight and the sanding pad stayed in tact. The battery lasted about 20-30 minutes of sanding the cabinet doors, and it recharges pretty quickly. Highly recommend - this will be easier to use for quick sanding jobs with no cord, and it does a better job.

Nice job Milwaukee!
Somebody should have thought of this 15 years ago! Great little tool and you'll find dozens of uses for it. For finish work in tight spots or delicate restoration work, very effective.

Just find something else
So disappointed in this detail sander. I purchased the larger batteries but they still wear through very fast. The sand paper doesn't last long and I can't just buy an individual grit, I have to get the combo pack. As I'm sanding tight corners and thin edges, the plastic point has bent and now I'm fighting to find the right angle in tight spaces. The point on the sander just isn't long enough to get into tight spaces and be effective. The lack of dust extraction is also a real mess. Had really high hopes as Milwaukee is always a reliable brand, but this thing is 1 step above crap. The cheap Black and Decker Mouse detail sander is honestly a better tool, and that in itself is enough of a review for anyone that knows better. This one will get tossed in a drawer once I'm done with this project. Learn from my lesson and get something else.
