  • Quick and Reliable!
This seller was able to fulfill and ship my order within less than a day! The delivery estimated was a week out, but I received it within 2 days, which is basically on par with Amazon Prime. The product was high quality too and it was completely sealed with brand new packaging.

  • It’s a drill bit.
Got it on sale.

  • The worm does not feed
Having used hundreds of this style of drill bits over the last 40 years, I know when I have a good auger bit and when I have a style I will not purchase again, this falls into the second category unfortunately. The drill is nice overall and if you are not using it for production it will get you by, this is by no means the worst ship auger I have ever purchased but isn't exactly, or even close really, to being the best. The self-feeding worm of this drill bit is too large and starts very poorly, you have to jam the bit into every board you are trying to drill. It leaves a terrible, splintery mess of wood when it does erupt from the other side and while partly the fault of the worm which stops feeding the drill once it reaches the opposite side of the material, it is also the fault of the grind on the cutting edge. This was a problem I knew I can correct through sharpening but the worm issue caused me to purchase another drill bit due to the frustration and running out of the physical ability to push the drill bit through wood all day. I never hit a nail with it, so I cannot review the durability of the bit to nails but I cannot recommend it and will stick with the extra cost of Nail-eaters due to the other issues mentioned. I wished it would have worked out but alas it did not. 2 stars because it is not the worst, but mostIy because I cannot give the worst bits a 0 star rating. ... show more

  • Very fast bit
This bit has a very fast action and drills through 2 by lumber like it’s nothing. Would highly recommend. It’s also fairly easy to sharpen for those who are into that

  • Solid auger bit
I use 7/8 auger bits everday as an electrician. We mostly drill 2x4's. I've used many brands of auger bits and all of them start requiring you to push really hard to break through the 2x4 at the end. This normally happens after 20-40 holes. Saw Milwaukee one and thought id give it a try. HOLY MOLY this is by far the best 7/8 bit ive EVER used. I've done over 300 holes on it and I NEVER have to push on the drill to get it through the 2x4. I will never change to another brand. Milwaukee hands down. Keep in mind that if your using this for your job that you will need a powerful drill. Im talking a Milwaukee M18 2804 or preferbly a Milwaukee M18 2904. It has 15% more torque than the 2804 and has auto stop that prevents you front twisting your arm off in the event that your drill gets caught. It's already saved me multiple times. ... show more
