Been through an awful lot of power tools by now it's 65 years old last few years been kind of hard on my drills my impact drivers and whatnot and I swore up and down and I have no reason why I have never bought a Milwaukee, but I swore up and down after the luck I've had the last few tools that I was going to order them Milwaukee before I'm done buying tools and I bought a set well I bought them separate but I bought the driver and this drill I got to say I've been missing out these are absolutely the best made hand tools I've ever put in my hands I've been looking for work around the house and around my shops just because I love you so much they're amazing the power is unreal just to feel these tools from Milwaukee in comparison to anything else well let me just say there is no comparison and the deals here on Amazon for the Milwaukee tools the sets are nice there's some good deals there I looked and I bought them separate because I found that I can get them a little more from my money but I'm telling you you put one of these in your hand if you haven't before and if you're even questioning the price it's worth every bit of it and more and I wish I had owned them long before now I probably would have spent less money in the long run, Milwaukee's main competitor those that make the yellow tools, I've gone downhill in my opinion I've had nothing but failure after failure the last few years and I don't work my drills and my hand tools like I used to, but I hear recently bought the new yellow cordless screwdriver that is run by a gyroscope because it sounded like handy new option or feature, and yet again disappointment in all of their tools now especially after putting Milwaukee in my hands I gave the yellow cordless screwdriver to my son I'll be buying a red one I recommend these tools to anyone if you need a power tool shop Milwaukee if you don't believe it go to the local hardware store and put them in your hands there's no there's no comparison ... show more

    • Charger too prone to randomly give false red/green error warnings.
I just received this, haven’t used it yet, but it seems well made as I expect from Milwaukee. However, as has been noted by other reviewers here, the charger is flakey. It is too sensitive to how the battery is inserted and frequently goes into the red/green blinking that supposedly means the battery is bad. If you fiddle with it, which may have to include plugging/unplugging the charger, you can get it to behave. This behavior was observed on both the battery included in the kit and with the identical extra battery I purchased at the same time. Assuming the drill performs as I expect it will, I would give it 5 starts but can’t go above 4 with this charger defect. ... show more

Usual excellent quality that I've come to expect from Milwaukee products. Now have 10 Milwaukee 18 volt power tools. Have not had a problem with any of them. Expensive pricing necessitates purchasing special deals, especially when they offer free tool.
