Nice saw

  • the delivery was five days longer. I was afraid that it would no longer be delivered
the saw is very good, I haven't even charged the battery yet , delivery was five days longer and the seller could not be contacted at all, I thought I was going to lose money, but luckily it turned out well

  • Saw works great, battery performance is poor.
We have used this saw for about 8 months with minimal cuts for small pieces of base trim and some 2x4s. The battery did not last and now it is unusable. Ive read this is a common issues for the HD12.0 battery.

  • Best saw out there!
Couldn’t ask for a better saw, almost got 500 cuts already on it and it still feels like new, and the battery lasts all week!

  • Good saw
This saw is everything I expected and more. I've used it for a week everyday and it has plenty of power and the battery life is really good.

  • Should be recalled
The saw works great for the most part. After about 500 cuts, it started to drain the batteries crazy fast even when not cutting. Apparently this is a very common problem that is well known by Milwaukee. The saw is not part of their e support program, so you have to pay to ship it or bring it in yourself and return to get it. ... show more

  • Most fantastic saw, Milwaukee's best yet.
I am a professional finish carpenter and my Miter saw is a most important tool. I have/had gone to completely cordless within the last 6 months and this saw was the backbone of my production. Out of the box it needed a thorough indexing as it was way off from the factory. Not a big deal, as every saw needs to be indexed in my world. Just a quarter of a degree of alignment error can be the difference between perfect and not so. This saw is a joy to use., and is portable as well. Battery life is way beyond what I expected. I cut about 200 10-15" pine boards a day and only have to charge every other evening. the blade shadow line is a godsend. 95% of my cuts are not indexed and are not easy to perform without a guide. The horizontal angle stop is a simple thumb lock and is light years ahead of the screw/knob/brake on other saws. All that said, I really miss this saw! After 2 months of light use, the first one died in the middle of the day. A sound of electrical shorting and a glow in the housing behind the battery. I immediately left the jobsite and traveled the 2 hours to the only certified repair station in my state for the one key products. I left it in their care and purchased another identical saw to get me through and save as a spare after the first was repaired. 3 or so weeks later, the blade brake failed on the second saw and it would refuse to work now and then. I called the repair station to see what the warrantee status was of the first saw and was told that the parts were 5 or more months out. This was a bit shocking to me. At this point I owned about 15,000 dollars worth of Milwaukee cordless tools and batteries. They are the foundation of my business. The repair station is a solid company and stood behind me and my purchase and I returned the second saw for a credit towards another unit. Unfortunately, they did not have another of these saws in inventory so I was forced to choose a different product. I will not go on about the saw that I purchased that day, only to say that it is the finest corded saw that I have yet to use. It is the 12" Bosch corded with the articulating arm. So. Just as a recap. All my work is done inside and neither saw was ever subjected to rain, or what have you. All of the product cut was 3/4" pine at 10-15" in width. the blade was a Diablo 80 tooth and very sharp. Saw was always allowed to ramp up to speed before the start of the cut. Saw was never loaded at any time in its life. I would have enjoyed testing its limits, but refrained from trying to break it as I need it in order to support myself. So after all of the rambling, I have to say that if you are a commercial carpenter that relies on his miter saw every minute, let Milwaukee iron out the issues with this machine before you become dependent on it. 9.20.2022 This saw was in the shop waiting for repair parts for all of 7 months. As with everything else related to the "chip shortage" it was a long time coming. I have put the saw back to work as of a couple of weeks ago and all is good so far. Every pull of the trigger though is a "I wonder if it's going to go this time" event. Really though, the portability and the accuracy of this tool makes it a dream for me on the jobsite. For a finish carpenter like myself, battery life is a non issue. Today for instance, with normal use, I was down one bar on a 12 ah. battery. Many saws will noticeably wander through a long cut without a conscious straight pull. This saw holds true very well and has to be forced to the side and off a line in order to produce a bad cut. Compound miter cuts are always right on without any deviation and are installed looking flawless. I really missed this saw! The jury is still out on the repair and the new parts. I can only hope they last well. The sales person at the repair station did mention to me at one point, that when purchasing any of the one key products, be sure that its born on date was early 2022 till now. He had nothing to back it up with, just that the newer dated models were a lot more reliable, and were not on his shelf waiting for parts. I hope this has helped some of you with your miter saw purchase choice. The failure of this saw did not stop me from doubling and tripling up on all of my Milwaukee cordless tools, even while it was in the shop. My trailer is now equipped almost completely with Milwaukee tools for 3 or more carpenters. ... show more
