8/26/2026 -- I have had and used this calendar for approximately 2 weeks at the time of writing this review We purchased the 21.5" version. We are a family of 5 and so far it has worked great! For the technical stuff, it took a little bit to set up and sync our Google calendars but now it's going smoothly. If your Google calendar is color-coded, that coding does not transfer to the Dragontouch, and vise versa. This isn't that big of a deal as we now just use the eCalendar app on our phones. Speaking of the app, the app syncs almost instantaneously with the calendar. You can manage everything through the app. It has great great how-to guides. The touch-screen aspect of the calendar itself is a little slow to respond sometimes. It would be nice it was a bit more responsive. I have to slow myself down when using it. There was one time where the screen totally froze, but the ol' "unplug it and plug it back it" fixed the issue. It hasn't occurred again. The size it great. I can easily see everything. I think the 15" would have felt cramped. For the usefulness: It was helped tremendously with organizing our lives and the increasing business of three kids. I like that I can add tasks for anyone in the family and set timed reminders (like reminding my husband at 8:00 pm to sign the cub scout paperwork). It's helping my kids develop their routines, independence, and responsibility (but now they fight over who has more stars...sometimes you can't win). My house has been the cleanest these two weeks it's ever been in the past 9 years! I also love the photo album screensaver. All those photos sitting on my phone can now actually be displayed. One small issue that's not terribly and issue is that there is a "Board" feature that I never saw advertised or in the description. It's pretty cool and lets you freehand draw, there's 2D and 3D shapes, different lattices almost like drafting paper, protractors, etc. You can save your "canvas." This can be awesome and has potential. But it must be pretty new though as there are no guides! It's not mentioned at all in any manual. It took my some time messing around to figure out how to pull up a saved Canvas. So perhaps it's so new that the guides haven't been developed yet? Anyway, it's cool and the kids love it. So we shall see how well it holds up long term. I'll circle back to this review in a few months (now let me set that reminder...)

I absolutely love the Dragon Touch 21.5-inch Digital Calendar! This interactive display has been a complete lifesaver for our home organization and daily sanity. This calendar helps keep both of my boys on track with exactly what they need to do each day. Because both of our boys are autistic, we juggle a heavily packed schedule filled with various therapy sessions and doctor's appointments. Having our monthly and weekly plans, along with their daily chore charts, clearly laid out on a large, easy-to-read touch screen makes a world of difference for their routines and daily transitions. The 21.5-inch screen is the perfect size—big enough for everyone to read at a glance, and the touch interface is highly responsive. I’ve been using the Dragon Touch 21.5-inch digital calendar for about a week now for family scheduling and daily planning, and overall it’s been a solid experience with several standout features. Setup & App Integration: The calendar arrived well packaged and was fairly easy to set up. It includes a printed manual and a wall-mounting template, which makes it easy to accurately mark where to drill holes for mounting. The template was helpful for spacing and alignment and made installation more straightforward. The manual also includes a QR code to download the eCalendar app. After creating an account, syncing works well. Anything added or edited in the app syncs automatically to the calendar, and changes made directly on the calendar sync back to the app. That live, two-way sync has been reliable. The app is compatible with both iOS and Android. I have it installed on my iPhone, and my spouse is using it on an Android device, and both are able to access and manage the same calendar. Display & Usability: One of the biggest strengths is the large 21.5-inch screen. It’s easy to see schedules at a glance, even from across the room. Tasks, events, and routines are clearly organized, and the color-coding works especially well. Each household member can be assigned their own color, which makes it easy to see who has what scheduled. Daily tasks and chores appear directly on the calendar view, so it functions as both a schedule and a visual to-do board. You can check off tasks as they’re completed, which makes it easy to track progress throughout the day. Recurring events are also easy to manage — items can repeat weekly, bi-weekly, or on specific days without having to be re-entered. Rewards & Motivation Features: One feature I really like is the built-in reward system. You can assign stars to completed tasks, choose how many stars each task is worth, and create rewards that unlock once a certain number of stars is reached. This works especially well for households with children or preteens, as it adds motivation and makes chores more engaging. Meal Planning & Lists: The built-in meal planning and list features are a nice bonus. You can plan meals by day and create grocery lists tied to those meals, which helps keep everything centralized and visible alongside daily schedules. Mounting vs. Desk Use: The calendar does include a stand that allows it to sit on a table or desk, but because of the large screen size, it’s most ideal when wall-mounted. If you’re planning to use this primarily on a desk or tabletop, the smaller size options would likely be a better fit. Power & Placement: This device must be plugged in at all times. It does not have a rechargeable battery, so if it’s unplugged, it turns off completely. Because of that, placement near an outlet is important, whether wall-mounted or used with the included stand. Screen Behavior: The display stays on continuously unless you manually set screen sleep hours. There’s no automatic timeout by default, so you do need to configure when the screen turns off rather than it adjusting automatically. Calendar Compatibility: Calendar integration is somewhat limited. It syncs with Google Calendar, but not directly with other platforms. I use a Cozy calendar, and in order to use this device, I had to manually move everything over. While it’s possible to sync Cozy to Google Calendar and then sync Google Calendar to this device, it adds extra steps compared to competitors that allow direct access to multiple calendar apps. Overall Impression: This is a sturdy and well-built digital calendar with a large, easy-to-read display and strong organization tools, especially for routines, chores, and family schedules. The reward system is a standout feature for households with children. It works best for families already using Google Calendar and for users who want a central, visual planning hub.
