Both batteries were completely dead, charging overnight did nothing. Gave them a little spark to get started and now they work fine. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

    • When you buy through an amazon seller you have no warrenty because they are not authorised sellers.
When I received this drill it had two defective batteries that would not take a charge. I called Milwaukee customer service and they told me that because I bought it from an unauthorized seller it had no warranty. My only recourse was to return it to amazon for a refund. Amazon did take it back with no problem other than a waste of my time. ... show more

Incredible power and long lasting. Love it. The more rugged of Milwaukee's driver-drills, with all-steel gearing, not plastic like so many others. Will outlast me, I'm sure. Love the way the chuck works: just a simple twist of the wrist and you're in with a new bit in flash. Heavy for its compact size, but that's all the solid motor and gearing in it. Milwaukee tools are high end to begin with. But this brushless cordless drill is much quieter than my old Milwaukee brush type cordless drill (which I gave to my son because after years of frequent use it's still going strong). Battery seems to last longer too. 5 stars.

Ask me about this drill in 20-30 years. It will take that long just to break it in. All Milwaukee tools last under extreme commercial usage.
