Build quality is good. Powder coat looks clean. Building tools like hex key and ratchet actually really nice. If you are looking for a bed like this I would suggest pulling the trigger on this one. This bed hits the sweet spot for quality and price. Great bed frame.

Love that the trundle lifts up and main bed looks like a bed and nit a day bed. Very stream line profile. SUPER easy to put together. Having a second set of hands will be helpful holding pieces together. Trundle works well with 6 inch mattress. Disappointed with the wheels, they DO NOT lock, so the trundle does move. Due to the slats, I had to put a piece of plywood under trundle mattress to use a bed rail so my grand child doesn't roll off the bed. I have used the bed and trundle twice. Still evaluating on ease of lifting and lowering trundle. I was tossed between this bed and a bunk bed. I went this route to accommodate for different ages. I hope i made the right choice...Guess time will tell.

Got a laugh out of the fact they reminded us the of the bunks in military basic training back in the 60s. This bed is just as sturdy as those old GI bunks. The illustrations were very clear on how to assemble. It does take someone to hold a section while you screw it together. Once assembled, they are easy to maneuver. We liked having a trundle bed in the kids room when they were younger and now that we're older, in our guest room. If we would have bought this years ago, we could have bypassed our two prior trundle beds. We've already had guests use them and they commented on the convenient height and the fact they didn't move around if they moved in the bed.

This arrived with a broken caster on the trundle bed. We immediately called Millard to request a caster replacement. They requested a photo which we sent. After 3 weeks, nothing. Phone calls go to unanswered holds or they are closed for holidays. Packaging was recycled and this is a big and heavy bed or we would return it. We don’t recommend buying from Millard.

I bought two of these because I liked the first one so much. It's very sturdy and has a solid feel to it. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The company included an extra bolt for each size and tools to assemble the bed. They even included a ratchet with bits to make it easy to put together. This company is the BEST! I'm keeping this seller so that I can look at other items that they sell.

It’s decent for the price. It was very easy to put together and extra bolts were provided which is always nice. However I’m not a fan of the support for the main bed. The slats for support are very thin and a design flaw of missing supports for the head and foot of the bed. It’ll work for a while or we will figure out a way to rig it for better support.
