  • Firm, comfortable
Size: Cot Style: 6 inch
Spouse sometimes snores and cat gets the zoomies at 4am. Got this mattress to put in our gym/junk storage room for occasional nights when I need to isolate myself to get some sleep. Love that it folds up as space is very limited. The memory foam is fairly light and easy to transport. I think the 4-inch mattress would have been fine but I'm glad I went with the 6-inch anyways. It's soft and comfortable but still has firm support. The cot size is plenty for 1 adult who doesn't flail around in their sleep. I find I have plenty of room to curl up and change positions. I also don't really feel the folds where the cushion splits. ... show more

  • Perfect in every way!
Size: Twin XL Style: 6 inch
When my MIL visits, I lose my bedroom. I have a loveseat that has a pull out, 3” thick twin mattress. It’s ancient and the mattress is full of springs that equal pain. I was so hesitant to order this since it isn’t free returns, but could 25,000 4.6 star reviews be wrong? I rolled the dice and I’m so glad I did. It had ZERO smell, right out of the box and they enclosed a special tool to make cutting the shrink wrap plastic easier and safer. It expanded to full size almost instantly. I unzipped the covers as instructed and waited 48 hours. This looks exactly as pictured and the zippers are metal, not cheap plastic. I wanted the trifold so I could store in a closet. To use it, I lay it on top of the chair’s mattress. The extra padding isn’t necessary as the cushions are 6” thick and they do not bottom out. I’m not sharing my weight, but trust me when I say, this is super comfortable, resilient and does not sag. At. All. I ordered the coordinating fitted sheet and it’s super soft too and is an excellent fit. I have the carrying/storage bag on order. This was such an excellent purchase. There are cheaper choices but they are not this quality. I went down that road first, much to my dismay. I have no problem highly recommending this foldable mattress. ... show more

  • Now my full-time bed!
Size: Queen Style: 6 inch
This foldable mattress bed is so comfortable, convenient, and affordable that I have made it my full-time bed! It folds up in a heartbeat and opens up the same way. I'm sleeping better than I have in a long time, and I wake up with less back pain and feeling more rested. It's very roomy, and my pets enjoy it along with me. During the day it's compact and can double as a small couch. I'm so glad I made this purchase! ... show more

  • Great guest mattress
Size: Full Style: 4 inch
I bought this as a futon topper for infrequent guests to use. Arrived on time, in good condition, no stains or tears or any other type of damage. I put it on top of my futon, which is roughly the size of a full size mattress, and it fit well with a few inches hanging over each side. The 4 inch thickness is very comfortable, I camped out on it in the living room for a couple hours watching TV and it felt just like the 12 inch memory foam mattress in my bedroom. My dogs enjoyed laying on it as well, although their nails/claws did pull on the fabric. The cover is very soft and comfortable. I laid on it without sheets and it was perfectly comfortable for sleeping, just like a normal mattress cover. It trifolds well, it is about the size of a small sofa/love seat when it is all folded up. My mom bought me the carrying case so I can keep it clean during storage and carry it up and down the stairs easier. This is a great alternative to converting one of my upstairs rooms into a full-time or part-time guest bedroom, which I did not want to do because people only stay with me two or three times per year and I wanted to use the other bedrooms for other things. I mainly got this topper for my mom, who is considering buying one for her RV guest couch, if she likes this one. ... show more

  • Firm mattress, convenient and flexible size
Size: Full Style: 4 inch
My original mattress was a very sad foam core shikibuton. This eventually, even after fluffing and turning it, began getting lumpy and hurting my back. I forked over for this mattress and after spending a few nights on it, felt it was too firm. I added a 1.5 inch memory foam topper onto it and the two combined made an excellent mattress! No springs, no sore spots, no support problems, even sleeping, not too hot and not uncomfortable. My back and hips (I am a side sleeper) have never once hurt or been sore after sleeping on this mattress. I have had no complaints from people that slept on it. My friend has tried in the past to convert her partner, who has chronic pain and hip problems to this combination because of the support. They did not feel convinced, especially considering that I sleep on the ground with no bed stand. When I stand on the mattress, my concentrated weight can cause the foot to go almost through to the ground. When I lay on it, then the weight is distributed and I do not feel the ground or any harder spots, either at the hips or shoulders. I am 160 lb female with hips as wide as my shoulders. Bottom line is that the combination I have made has caused this to be my best sleeping experience, I have slept on spring mattresses from queen down to twin, on box springs and off. I have slept on the floor, on a camp mattress with a sleeping bag (with and without a yoga mat underneath), on a giant bean bag, in a papasan, an air mattress, in a hammock and on a shikibuton knock off. Care wise, it originally was shipped vaccuum sealed into a tube shape, the whole mattress took about a day and a half to reach full size, and I left it out during a dry and sunny day to air out. There was some off gassing but after the two days of settling and putting a waterproof/bugproof cover onto it, there was very little smell or extra care needed. The foam springs back into shape immediately and does not lump up, even after nearly two years of constant use. Considering that I was sleeping on several layers of lumpy foam, and then a camping mat, and then a hammock, a super firm foam mattress took some getting used to. I gave it a few days before I decided it was too firm and got the foam topper for it. The 1.5 inches is perfectly adequate and takes the edge off from the firmness of the tri-fold's foam. The three foam sections are bound together in a tri-fold slip. Because of their design, there is a crease on the top side and then another on the bottom side, one at chest height and another at about knee height. Without the topper I put on it, those creases can become distracting if you shift or get up, as well, that means that you want to completely flip the bed over then you need to turn it foot-to-head as well for one crease to bend at the top and keep your elbow from sinking through the two parts of foam. A foam topper fixes all of that. Along with the tri-fold I got the 1.5 memory foam topper, the waterproof/bugproof slip and a full sheet set and comforter with duvet. A complete new bedding set and it came to $275. I also rent/move every few years so I needed a mattress that was capable of moving with me. This sucker and the memory foam topper folded up nice and pretty, and I then wrapped the whole thing in a tarp and strapped it to the roof of my hatchback, drove down I-5 and had no problems. The tri-fold is not that heavy, more awkward than anything, so investing in the cover/carry case might be worthwhile if you move more often than I do. Update: If you do not regularly flip the mattress, it is prone to sagging, so I have since gotten a 3" latex foam topper to offset this, essentially this combination (memory foam topper, latex topper and polyfoam base) is similar to most of the "bed in a box" mattresses that are sold. Hopefully it will be the same in comfort level. I will totally recommend this and my extra combination for a comfortable sleeping experience at a bargain. ... show more
