I was looking for an affordable mattress to replace my futon cause I love my futon frame and I have to say I really am impressed. It’s comfortable. I mean it could be thicker but it’s good enough. I’ve slept on it so I think it’s worth it.

I bought this to replace the "boulder" that came with my wooden futon. The one I had was super thick and very hard. Guests and I would complain about it's discomfort and it would literally make me hurt after sitting or laying on it. So I went on a hunt for a mattress that was firm, yet comfy. One that would hold my weight 220lb and not sink. So I stumbled across this one. I got it home quicker than scheduled, literally the next day! Unboxed it and layed it out to deflate. No harsh smells from being vacuum sucked and it came to full form fairly quick! I chose to sit and lay on this before I put my protector over it. And it was super comfy! I didn't feel the wooden frame when laying down or sitting. It doesnt move around a lot being on the lighter side, which is a plus! When laying with my baby, if I have to get up, it doesn't move her around and she barely notices me leaving (outside of my warmth). This isn't too large to where it hangs off and looks messy, it looks well and functions great! The only downside, if I was to complain... Would be to wish it was a tad thicker! Though comfy and keeps me from touching, I just wish it would be about 2in more to give that extra comfort and extra height. But over all... I love it! Would i buy this again? It really depends on how long this lasts. I don't want to have to buy a new mattress every year! But if I were to get another futon, most definitely! I used a mattress protector and my own cover for mine. To keep from damage, but it is totally worthy of being by itself

I sleep like I can't recall ever being able to sleep before! Soundly! Peacefully! Restful! My futon has no bars underneath, has a net instead but in the center there's two 1" spaced wooden slats the net's attached to, which usually you can feel. Not on this mattress! Can't find them anymore! Soft and OMG! I can more it by myself! The one I just took off must've weighted a hundred pounds per square inch! HEAVY! This is light as a feather-around 30lbs for the whole thing which lets me move it if I want! Unbelievable! AND I FELL ASLEEP ON IT TWO SECONDS OUT OF THE BOX! I have really bad arthritis, especially in my face, hips left shoulder and knees, and this has made one heck of a difference for me! The pain is less, and I can actually sleep even when it's hurting now. Fits my full-sized futon to a 'T', no more overhang. Don't know if it slides when up because mine won't go up anymore, but that's a futon issue not the mattress. Don't think you could go wrong with this one and the price is worth every last penny for it. I couldn't have made a better decision and when this one wears out, I want another one just like it. I'm sold on this one and you should be too. Hope you give it a try. You won't be sorry. Best mattress in the WORLD! Fire

I love this mattress. I love the look, and it is so so comfortable. The zipper is easy to remove and put back on, and after washing it, it didn’t shrink, which was a huge fear of mine. When I took off the cover, I was curious what it’s like on the inside so I ripped a bit of the non removable cover (easy to sew back on though) and saw it’s 2 thick foam pads and then a memory foam pad that’s probably 1.5 inches that holds the 2 together. The reason why I love this is because when you fold the fouton mattress, it doesn’t misshape or deform the mattress, since it’s already slit by the 2 parts. It also doesn’t cause any sagging from the top to bottom. I sit on this fouton every day, and have slept in it several times as well and have no noticed any signs of wear or dents for 2 months now. My fouton is right next to a window so I was concerned about the yellowing as mentioned in other reviews, but if it has yellowed, it’s been even so I haven’t noticed! But I really don’t think there has been any yellowing. Side note, I had my window open once and it rained really bad, so a quarter of my fouton got SOAKED. I took off the cover and moved the mattress to allow drying and airflow and put a fan on it for 24 hours and there was no impact on the mattress. I was worried the wet would ruin the foam but it’s as good as new!

I have been through 2 other futons and I think I have finally found one that feels nice to sleep on and looks good. It's a pretty navy blue (I wish they had a teal blue, but I can buy a cover if I want to change it), but more importantly it is a true "FULL" size mattress and it feels nice to sleep on. I tested it myself before I had christmas family stay with me, and I was able to sleep without feeling the frame below me. It really does feel like a memory foam mattress. It was tested again by my son, who is 5'7 and 165 lbs, and he said it was one of the best ones he had slept on too and he would probably get one for his house as well. I ordered the frame that showed it went with it and that works just fine too.
