This Milliard Deluxe Diplomat Folding Bed – Twin Size - is somewhat more expensive but it is definitely higher quality. This is a folding, rollaway, bed designed for occasional use. You *could* use it on a regular basis but don't expect the comfort of a conventional bed. If you are looking for something to sleep on nightly but can be folded away when not in use, I suggest looking at this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DJ8HWBU/ (as long as you are able to get on and off of a mattress that is on the floor.) It arrives mostly assembled but you will need to do some assembly. The necessary tools are included and the assembly instructions are pretty good. I encountered no issues. The mattress arrives in a vacuum sealed, heavy duty, plastic, bag. You will need to carefully cut the plastic bag open and remove it for the mattress to begin to expand. It take a few hours to fully expand. There is definitely some off gassing of the foam in the mattress so it's helpful to let it expand outside on a porch or patio. The mattress in memory foam and yeah, although it says it is a 5" mattress, it doesn't quite measure 5" thick. It's definitely twin size though and twin size sheets fit properly. The unique thing about this mattress is that it is double sided. One side is a softer foam and the other side is a firmer foam so you can choose your comfort level.. It also has a zip off cover that can be laundered should the cover become stained or soiled. I love the wheels, which allow you to roll the folded up bed out of the way easily. The frame feels quite sturdy but do note that the recommended weight limit is 250lbs. I also love the mattress retaining bars at the head and foot of the bed, which keeps the mattress from sliding off. I did buy a canvas storage cover for this bed when it's not in use and I recommend it for appearance and to prevent the bed from getting dusty. This bed really is surprisingly comfortable and it's not noisy, which is usually a big problem in less expensive, roll away, beds. It provides good, even, support and a pleasant night's sleep. For a folding bed, this one is perfect! Super comfortable - The mattress has two comfort levels (firm and soft) depending on which side of the mattress is used. Easy to put together - I assembled by myself using the instructions that were included. Easy to fold up - Folded it by myself and used the latch to secure it in place. It might be easier to fold with two people but it wasn't too bad for me. Rolls away for easy storage Cover available - I also purchased the cover which will keep the dust off the mattress while it's being stored. Well made - This is a well made, quality product. It might seem a little pricey but its worth it for my guests to have a good nights rest. I showed the bed to my sister and she was equally impressed with the bed. First i will tell you, I am a researcher- i wanted an extra bed for guests. i originally thought about a heavy duty air mattress, but for a plethora of reasons i thought that this would be more sturdy and lasting. We were looking for something for our tiny camp cabin. This bed is exactly what we needed. Easy to assemble, the mattress expanded fully in about 2 days. I like that it has a soft and firm side. Both sides are a little stiff but I put a mattress pad on it and its very comfortable for short term use. I bought the cover for it which was a lot cheaper option than the cabinet and it works perfect. Folds up nicely even with the mattress pad on it and rolls nicely out of the way. We actually bought 2 and velcro the frame together to make a king bed. Would highly recommend! ... show more

Size: Deluxe Diplomat Folding Bed
I was having a lot of family staying at my house for a family get together and I needed someplace for my son to sleep as his bedroom was needed for other family members. I got this bed and it's just perfect. The mattress is firm on one side and soft on the other (personally I didn't think there was much difference between the two sides). My son is 5'10" and he was able to sleep on it with no issues. I later slept in it for two nights to see how it felt. There are no hard bars or anything else uncomfortable underneath the mattress. I would have no issues sleeping on this mattress for a week if I had to. Keep in mind, this does not use standard size twin sheets. It uses something smaller. But I bought twin sheets anyway and bought sheet straps to hold the sheets in place. The bed folds in half for easy storing in a standing position. It's also on wheels so you can roll it into your storage room. I bought a storage cover to go over it to keep the dust off which was a great purchase. The storage cover I bought is made by the same company as the bed. I think the bed and the added on storage cover are terrific purchases that are well worth the money.
