No where did I see gloves required like on other purple pigmented shampoos or conditioners. Let me tell you wear them. I was able to get it off my hands but why need to. This was the best purple shampoo I've got ever. Well worth the money. My brassy hair is no more, it does have a hint of purple but that's cause I didn't trust the process and left it on way longer then I needed. No biggie. ... show more

I have platinum hair, thanks Mother Nature, and I use this shampoo. You do have to be careful when using this product. Don't leave on your hair for to long or don't use too often.
