    • Beyond my expectations
Initially, I am surprised by the road performance of these MT-02. These tires are quite, just a few ticks above the Firestone AT’s that they replaced and I barely notice them. I do run them at manufacturers recommended tire pressure 35-38psi, I’m set at 35psi for my Jeep TJ and will try higher pressure just to experiment in ride quality. At 35 psi I noticed a slight knobby ride but that is to be expected from mud terrain tires, but it is not bad at all. The looks of the MT-02 are aggressive and gave my Jeep TJ a beefy cool updated appearance. I haven’t tested these tire off road because I still need to install a 3” lift kit, which is on the way. After I install the lift kit I will do further testing and add to this review. I am gearing up for a Moab trip real soon. The price of these tires at the time off purchase was $217 and that is spectacular compared to other well known brands, roughly 1/3rd less and I am putting those savings towards more suspension upgrades. I don’t know the miles I get out of the MT-02, that remains to be seen. I have no complaints, stay tuned as I pile up the miles and venture the great American off road sites. ... show more
