It has a pleasant, non-lingering scent, and leaves the hair soft and clean. I like it so much better than the last wig shampoo I purchased! I can't tell if it's this shampoo or the associated conditioner that left my wigs looking limp and lifeless. Really took the life out of them and left them without body. I can't say that I'm in love with it. it seems to cleanse well and will lather but something about it just didn't work out well for my wigs.

I got this for various hair pieces I've collected. I didn't even know you needed a special shampoo, but now that I'm learning, it makes sense to clean, hydrate, and revitalize. This shampoo has a light, pleasant aroma. It isn't sweet, it isn't floral, it isn't powdery... I can't quite put my finger on WHAT the aroma is, but it is fresh and light, and fades quickly. The directions are to put shampoo in water so that you have soapy water, and dip/wash your wigs in this, then rinse. This shampoo isn't exactly low-cost, but since you can wash multiple wigs in the shampoo solution, that does make it more economical. The shampoo formula is gentle, and leaves the hair soft. For longer hair wigs, using conditioner helps with tangles. For short hair, shampoo may be enough.

I like the formulation and composition of this wig shampoo, it cleanses the wig hair without losing the integrity of wig’s hair strands. The moisturizing ingredients of this wig shampoo also hydrate and nourish the hair fibers, which is crucial for synthetic wigs as they don’t receive natural oils from the scalp like human hair does, therefore the hydration formula prevents the hair from becoming dry, brittle and prone to tangling. This wig shampoo is easy to rinse out of the hair, leaving the wig smelling fresh and clean. My synthetic wig remains soft, lightweight and comfortable to wear after washing. Great for regular maintenance, would recommend it!
