This is an update to my original review. I purchased the M4 2.0 Ultra to add a home gym option when my wife and I couldn't make it to the gym. So far, it's been a nice addition and a huge time saver. The M4 has met all my expectations except for a couple of areas. The aluminum pulleys are definitely worth the extra money. They are smooth and quiet and the red stands out. They're not quite as smooth as the ones on the equipment at the gym; I don't know why but I can definitely tell the difference. My biggest complaint was that you could not purchase the weight stack as an upgrade. My wife and I workout together and I didn't realize that changing plates between sets would be such a hassle. Not a big deal if working out alone, but for us it became annoying. Other competitors sell the weight stack as a separate upgrade, and when I reached out to Mikolo, they said they had no intention of selling them at the time. I'm happy to report that they now sell the stack upgrade and I purchased one on Amazon. It's a huge improvement in our workouts. The weights go up to 132 lbs, but the pulleys are 2:1 so it's more like 60 pounds. This is enough for everything except back exercises. That's not an issue since we each use 1 stack and the pins allow for 90 more pounds on each pin. It would be great if they sold the 3-in-1 pad separately, so we wouldn't have to keep switching sides. FYI, if you purchase the weight stack or the Elite, the plates all have to be installed facing the same direction. You can easily miss this but the bushings have lip on one side of the plate. The only other complaint I had are the J hooks. While they're an improvement from the 1.0, the hooks can swing out because there is no safety pin. When the bar is off center, it's almost impossible to slide it on the hooks, and the hooks swing out when you do. I worry they could come off if you slide the bar really far. If you need to reach out to customer service, email them, don't bother calling. Customer service is awesome and very responsive, but only if you send an email or go through Amazon. In any case, I'm happy with my M4.

Mostly seems like pretty great quality. Decent price. Maybe the bench isn’t as high quality as I hoped. And the rubberized weights are very oily and smell really bad, but I think that’s gonna be the case with many rubberized weights. Might be best to spend the extra money and get the version with the weight stack. Using the barbell weights is pretty tedious and annoying.

I cannot express how amazing this unit is! The fit/finish is perfection, every part (nuts, bolts, pieces, etc. were clearly labeled and assembly was very easy. The company goes above and beyond to help in any way, but, you won't need them as EVERYTHING about the product, instructions, etc. came TOTALLY user friendly! I would give this item and the co. 10 stars if I could!!! I do not have even a single complaint about this product!

Would NOT recommend this gym equipment set to anyone. Both of the pulley cables ripped upon first use-with 10 lbs of weight. They should last for a long time since they are marketed as heavy duty. Honestly just ridiculous and unacceptable. Put in a message request with the seller immediately after the product defected and was told new cables would be sent and it is now over two weeks later and no cables with a tracking number that says product has not been shipped. Have not been able to use the pulley portion of the $2000(!!!!) equipment since we originally purchased in the beginning of March. I gave the seller a chance to fix the situation before leaving a review but with no rectification of the bad cables I can’t let others purchase this and have the same problem. Buy a different equipment set and save yourself the headache.

My only complaint is to make sure you grease all your bars, pins, cables—basically anything that slides. Besides that, it's a great machine! I would suggest upgrading to the weight stack and upgrading the bench. The bench is a little flimsy. That's my only suggestion.
