I waited a month before leaving my review so I had time to really get a feel for this thing. First of all, let me just say that the quality for the price is truly incredible. As somebody who's been a member of the health and fitness community for 25 years, I've put together my fair share of fitness equipment. Of all the equipment I've assembled, this is the most intelligently designed piece yet. I'm beyond impressed with the engineering, with every part fitting together perfectly. Even with high-end, big-name equipment, I've had to bend or force things into place, but I didn't encounter that once with this bad boy. It was also packaged wonderfully, with each part being painstakingly wrapped to prevent damage during transit. It took me ten hours to assemble by myself, and the included instructions were vague in places, but I was able to construct it with help from video instructions I found online. I had to do a Google search for them, and I found them on YouTube. The pros: - For a budget rack, this thing is quite sturdy and seems to be made from quality metal. - As mentioned above, whoever designed this thing did a fantastic job in terms of assembly. - Smooth pulley systems! The dual-pulley systems are incredibly smooth, so much so that they actually feel smoother than the pulley systems found in the commercial gyms I've visited over the years. - Smooth Smith bar! The Smith bar is also very smooth and feels very safe, which is important. - Lots of attachments! I can't believe the number of attachments Mikolo includes with this. A v-handle, v-bar, rope, long pulldown bar, short pressdown bar, row bar, ankle attachments, and more! You'll be able to perform every exercise with the wide array of attachments. - Bar storage! They can be a bit hard to access if you have your unit against a wall, but the two bar holders are a nice touch. No more leaning my bars against the wall for this guy! - The included J-hooks and safety catches for barbell training are great since some people prefer free barbell lifts over the Smith machine. They're very solid, too! I've had close to 500 pounds on the safety catches with no bend at all. - The unit looks great! Everyone who's seen it so far has stood in awe. - I love that the unit includes a landmine attachment! That said, the bolt on the landmine attachment will dig into your flooring if you're not careful because the bolt is a hair too big. After just one use, it bore a hole in the rubber stall mat I have under the system. That irked me since the stall mat was new and expensive. The cons: - If you like repeated head trauma, this is the machine for you. Unfortunately, the highest catch for the Smith bar is still so low that whacking your head off of it is inevitable. I'm 5'9" and hit my head on it at least twenty times while trying to grab an attachment from the included attachment hangers located at the back of the unit. It's very easy to forget the bar is there, and just low enough to do some serious damage to your head. Frustrated, I realized you can actually modify the rack to prevent hitting your head by simply replacing two of the unit's top bolts with longer bolts and a metal spacer. In the future, I hope Mikolo includes these longer bolts and spacers so everyone has the option of raising their bar high enough to freely walk in and out of the rack. See the attached pictures for my modification, which greatly improves the unit. - I might have ordered a different model had I known you can't change what side the foot plate for seated rows is on. Where the foot plate attaches is welded onto one of the legs of the unit, making it impossible to change once the unit has been assembled. They could have prevented this by mentioning it in the assembly instructions. For example, "If you prefer the foot plate to be on the left side of your unit, simply swap the legs around before construction." I didn't realize you couldn't choose what side the foot plate is on until after I'd built the unit, and taking the bottom legs off once it's constructed would be a complete nightmare. - The foot plate height isn't adjustable, which makes seated rows hard unless you do them sitting directly on the floor. As a trainer, not all of my clients have the mobility to do this. Most people prefer sitting on a bench to do their rows, but it's hard to get the proper leverage with the foot plate being so low. In the future, I hope Mikolo fixes this or sells an optional foot plate that you can simply attach at the desired height. - Sadly, the weight storage arms are very weak. I placed two 45-pound plates on each side of the unit, and within two or three days, the arms had started to sag. Because of this, the weight plates separate and look like they're slowly sliding off. I have to use clips to make sure that doesn't happen. I tightened the arms again, but there seems to be no fixing them. - I wish the weight storage arms protruded through the back support beam so you could place weights on both sides of each rear beam. Because they don't, it can be a bit frustrating trying to load and unload plates while you're lifting or training a client. There isn't enough room to simply step through the back of the unit since it's angled, so you have to walk around each side to grab the plates you need for the pulley systems. It's a bit of a nuisance. - The Smith barbell weight is 35 pounds, which was hard to find in the product description. I wish they'd made it 45 pounds, which is the typical weight of an Olympic barbell. Because it's 35 pounds, those who've been lifting with a 45-pound barbell for years will have to adjust their math. - The Smith machine track doesn't extend to the very bottom of the rack, which is a huge problem for me. Because it stops quite a few inches short to accommodate the pulley cable below it, it makes doing Smith machine deadlifts impossible since the bar sits too high off the ground. This is a problem with the included safety catches as well, since the holes stop high to prevent hitting where the foot plate attaches. I wish the Smith track and the front safety catch/J-hook holes went a bit lower so you could get the weights hovering just above the floor instead of two or three inches above the floor. Oh well. I suppose you could stand on something to compensate for this. - The powder coat finish scratches easily, so be careful with it. An additional protective coating of some sort would prevent this, but I understand they need to cut costs. After just a few uses, I was finding scratches on mine, which is kind of a bummer since I bought this to train clients and was hoping to keep it looking shiny and new as long as possible. - A small gripe, but I wish the back support beams weren't angled and designed so you can step in and out of the unit from the sides. Instead, you have to walk in and out of it from the front, which makes it hard to spot somebody who's facing out while lifting, and even harder with the rear top support beam being so low. It's a bit cramped. It also makes it harder to grab weight plates from the storage arms. The verdict: In summation, the quality of this rack is great for the price. I was a bit hesitant to pull the trigger on it since I'd never heard of Mikolo before, but they won me over with their customer support, fast shipping, superb packaging, and overall quality. While assembling this thing, I found myself thinking, "This thing is such good quality, how are they making a profit?" I mean, I can't imagine these things are cheap to manufacture and ship. For a budget multi-function rack, I'm very impressed. Despite a few minor irritations, it's well worth the price if you can live with the few nuisances detailed above. If you're looking for an affordable way to perform as many exercises as possible, this is the rack for you. It's worth mentioning again that Mikolo's customer support is the best I've ever experienced. After placing my order, they reached out to let me know it would be arriving in several boxes to avoid any confusion. Thanks, Mikolo!

I assembled it in a day with breaks. It has so many great attachments and works as described. It essentially covers the majority of common lifting exercises. The only thing I may get now is some free weights or some additional weights for the smith machine. Great product.
