Got this as a dupe for the almighty dorm room Suprima. It's the exact same measurements. The only difference is that the other one has brackets for the bottom of the shelving to give it stability. An easy fix would probably be to install the bottom shelf (we did not) and put the fridge on it but wasn't looking to do all that. This works just fine as you can see although setting the microwave on the fridge is better than putting it on a shelf because of the stability issue. That said, do not try and move this once you get the shelves filled and it is positioned where you want it. Shelves are adjustable. Looks great. Very happy with it. (Side note, purchased clear/frosted shelf liners from Amazon in a 24" x 18" size with the little precut curved corners.) ... show more

After we tried to follow video (which didn’t go so well) we followed the instructions in the box and it was a whole lot easier to put together. It seems very sturdy and my wife loves it. Just make sure you only do one pole at a time and don’t try to put all the poles together before putting on shelves. ... show more

As others have stated, there were 2 shelves that were slightly bent in spots. But that doesn't stop the functional use of the unit. For those thinking that the quality of this is cheaper... well buy something more expensive then. I'm using this in my kitchen to hold pots, pans, small appliances, and gallons of juice (I'd give a brand name but not necessary). I put the juice on the bottom shelf since they are the heaviest things on this rack. Also recommend you use a rubber mallet to help assemble this. ... show more

I've had many versions of shelving units like this over the years, different brands, different finishes, etc. This unit is the lowest quality I've had and been willing to keep. I ordered it because it is the specific size I needed and the shelving is hard to find in white at this size. The finish is thin and scratches VERY easily. The clips are not large enough to fit together properly, and the shelves will not seat fully onto the clips. This compromises the load capacity. I'm only using this as a plant stand, so I don't need it to bear much weight, but this unit would not be sturdy at the weight the vendor claims it can hold. As other reviewers mention, the clips don't want to stay in place during assembly due to being manufactured at the wrong size and out of cheap 3D printer plastic. I have assembled and disassembled units like this many times over the years. Usually they are very forgiving and don't require much precision. I was able to get this one put together without much trouble because I was slow and meticulous with each step, keeping everything as level as possible. With the low-quality, ill-fitting clips, I could tell if I let a shelf go crooked, it would be a booger to correct and scratch the paint (I hesitate to call it powder coating - it scratches so easily). I assume I will need to reconfigure the shelves at some point, and when I do, I'm going to order replacement clips from a different vendor (and in white, because why would the seller even provide black clips for white shelving other than in an attempt to cut costs?!) to improve the sturdiness. Had the seller not been running a bundle special that included free casters, this unit would be way overpriced at $52. I have similar units from a big box store that are twice as wide, cost $65 each, and are great quality. ... show more

I'm writing a review since, after reading all the people complaining in the previous reviews, I almost didn't buy the product. My experience was: Wow this is pretty sturdy! (What did people expect to put a weight set on it? It's not for that. I'm going to store board games on it, although I think it could hold a lot heavier things like pots and pans.) My second thought: "wow this is easy to assemble!", so I don't know why one reviewer said it was confusing and took her 5 hours. It literally takes 10-15 minutes. There was no rust or damage as others complained about. It was super well packed with lots of precautions against damage. Maybe that was done after the other reviews were written. I don't know. But my experience was nothing but positive and I'm glad I made the purchase and gave it a chance. It was everything I hoped it would be! One note: The plastic clips for setting the shelves in place say TOP on them very faintly. Orient them the correct way. ... show more
