I bought one of these blankets to use for pain management. It works very well and heats up better and hotter than any other blanket I tried. it is much higher in price, but you expect quality. About a month ago I experienced a small shock from the blanket and after I was done using it I looked and the bottom had burnt together and burned through the mat. I contacted MiHigh's customer support for assistance and did not receive a response despite 5 emails to them. I then decided to go through the Amazon review process to see if I could get through to them. I received an email within 2 days, and they worked with the company to comp me a new sauna blanket. I was very impressed with the speed of service once I got a representative. Not only did they comp me for the price of a new sauna blanket, but they are sending me a free experience kit. Pros: Quality materials with a surprisingly luxe look and feel Gets hot! Fully soaked at highest setting after an hour Relatively lightweight and easy to manage, compared to other sauna blankets Relatively affordable, compared to other sauna blankets Cons: The big deal breaker for me was the length. I’m 5’ 10” and had to really contort my legs to fully immerse in the blanket. Not optimal when you’re trying to relax. Only other concern: small patches of fabric appeared to be melting/fusing after just 6 uses. I contacted the company but have not received a response at the time of this review (3 full business days later). These two cons were enough for me to return the MiHigh and seek out another blanket. But if you’re on the shorter side and are willing to roll the dice with warranty, I’d definitely give this one a try. ... show more

Bought at the end of September. There were ‘hot spots’ but I managed to work around that with towels inside the blanket. After using it 1-3 times per week for 15-40 mins per week the blanket died. It does turn on, the temp dial goes up to 9, the warmth of the blanket never goes above 1 or 2–even after 40 minutes. On the off chance that it gets warm, the warmth is irregularly distributed. The blanket connectors has never been wet or exposed to moisture. The interior is cleaned after each use. There are no cuts or tears in the blanket. I opted for this blanket because of reviews. I had been researching sauna blankets for a long time and decided to try MiHigh. It seemed great at first, but on the second use it started to burn holes through the inside plastic which is a quality and safety concern for me.

I love the infrared blanket I just wish you had zippers on both sides so if I use it on the bed I have to make sure it's on the right side of the bed to open it to get in and out otherwise I love it

I tried it, it didn’t really make me sweat. It was like having a nice warm blanket over you while you take a nap. Don’t have to spend this much money to get that result. I would take off one star for packing. If you have to return it, make sure you know how to re-fold it and put it back in the box. It was almost impossible for me to do.
