  • Does Not Last for RV / Solar Setups
Don’t spend your money on this company. I purchased 4 of these solar batteries for a Class A RV House system. The setup is 1kw of solar, 6000w Aims inverter/charger/transfer. The charge settings applied were to battery manufacture specs and very typical setup for RV (powers fridge, LED lights, and stereo). They have died completely in 10months light use. Being that they are supposed to be designed for solar - this should be the ideal battery for long term / light use, float charge situation. The batteries show full charge and yet last maybe 1 hour with a 10amp draw.. System is setup 24v series / parallel 400ah... This battery lasted less than a year!!! I had the same setup with cheap USED GC2 golf cart 6volt series/parallel flooded batteries that lasted way longer! So I also tried to deal with MightyMax - they said they need all 4 batteries back at their warehouse in NJ.. These weigh 115pounds each! They would not cover the return shipping and define they must be sent back with “original” packing and foam inserts. Who keeps Huge cardboard Boxes?? So basically I cannot return them - the company does not stand behind their product or care that someone in the RV / Solar market in social media will not support or back their product. I attempted to have them resolve - but to me that’s unacceptable support for a faulty product. Stick with a mainstream brand if you want support. ... show more

  • Doesn't hold the charge after 6 months light use! I do not recommend.
After only 6 months of light use, the battery doesn't hold the charge and can only produce around 30ah. With all the conditions to return the battery under warranty, original packaging needed, cost of shipping, etc... it's really like you don't get any warranty at all. I did not kept the box, who does! Almost $400 in the garbage. Buy a battery that can be returned to a local store, or the manufacturer have service counters in your area. I learned the hard way. Avoid that mistake! There is a lot of good reviews for Mighty Max and i am sure most poeple have good experience, but you really know you bought from a good manufacturer when you need them the most! In this case, i didn't read all the warranty conditions before buying, mainly relying on the good reviews, now i realise my mistake. If you buy, keep your box for 1 year, be willing to pay $$$ to ship a 115 lbs battery ground at your cost, if you are ok with that, then go ahead, otherwise buy something else. FYI: The battery was use in a dual battery setup in my truck. ... show more

  • yes
These batteries are awesome - and I got phenomenal customer support as well. I have about 8 of these for two off the grid RV spots... they power a few large RV's and I've used them to brew some off my beer off the grid... overall, the batteries last forever even when I am messing with my system and take them off line.. later on they still have a full charge and can power most anything I can throw at them. they are heavy - but I'll buy more. ... show more

This is the second one I added to my setup. I liked the first one so much that I bought this one to hook up in parallel for a total of 400AH.

  • Seems solid thus far!
So far so great! Used this to upgrade our power situation on our A-frame camper, and it has given us vastly more power capacity. This in combination with solar has let us go very long periods of time with adequate power, and I've never had to resort to a generator since purchasing it! It's been two months, and we'll see how it goes long term. ... show more

  • great, then purchased 5 more and will buy another ...
Purchased 1 to check ability under solar power, great, then purchased 5 more and will buy another 5 to add to my solar grid. Operating a 1000 watt well pump and 1200 watt coffee pot with no problem, virtually illuminating generator.

  • great house battery
Using for a house battery in our Sprinter. So far so good, but haven't added some of the bigger components like a fan or heater yet. I'll update when that happens. Seems to hold a charge for a while, but its only powering lights and a cooler at the moment.

  • Works fine
It's just what you'd expect... shipped in a very sturdy set of boxes. My only complaint is that the labels are only on the side of the battery so you can't read them when it's installed and only the top is visible. No markings on the top whatsoever except to mark the pole polarity.
