I bought the Mighty 3 because I wanted music without carrying around a distracting glowing rectangle all day, and honestly, it delivers that experience better than almost anything else out there. The best part is the freedom. It feels like the modern version of an old iPod Shuffle, except it works with Spotify playlists and podcasts. I’ve used it for walks, workouts, errands, and times when I want music without getting sucked into notifications or social media. It’s tiny, lightweight, and easy to clip onto clothing, and the offline playback works great once everything is synced. Battery life has been solid for me, and I like that it works with both Bluetooth and wired headphones. The sound quality is surprisingly good for such a small device. It’s also nice for people trying to cut down screen time, runners who don’t want to carry a phone, or parents looking for a music player for kids without giving them full smartphone access. That said, it definitely isn’t perfect. Setup can be frustrating at first, and syncing playlists sometimes feels slower than it should. Bluetooth pairing can occasionally be temperamental too. A lot of the experience depends on how patient you are with the app and syncing process. Overall, though, I still really like it. The Mighty 3 succeeds at something most devices fail at now: letting you enjoy music without dragging your entire digital life along with it.     • Looks neat; unfortunately does not work

I've run 15,000+ miles over the past 15+ years using iPod Shuffles and decided I finally needed to get with the times. The Mighty looks neat, so I gave it a shot. Opened it up, it comes with good printed instructions and the app is nice. I was excited. Then I tried it. I hadn't noticed how, in their marketing materials, people are almost always wearing it on the neckline of their shirt. This is super impractical as a runner, I can't have that thing bouncing up and down on my neck the whole time (it's surprisingly chunky, way bulkier than an iPod Shuffle). I wanted to wear it on my waistline, and unfortunately its range is so limited that this just doesn't work. If I am standing perfectly still, facing straight ahead, Mighty on the right side of my shorts, it can mostly work with my Airpods. Anything else, it cuts in and out constantly. I'm not oddly shaped (6'0", 200 lbs), but the range is a hard fail for me. So I thought, I'm used to wired headphones, maybe I'll just try that, since the Mighty has an old-style headphones jack. But this, too, was problematic. The iPod Shuffle was designed so that the headphones jack would snap in, ensuring a tight fit no matter what. The Mighty does not have this, so the normal bouncing up and down while running would frequently make the headphones jack lose connection. It will also occasionally just unpair or turn off in the middle of a run. I can't have that. Another problem is that the Mighty's control surface is almost completely flat, so you can't tell what you're pressing without looking at it. There's a tiny bump for "Volume Up", and that's it. If your hands are cold, or you're wearing gloves, good luck using it mid-run. I gave up and got a Garmin 265 and it's great. Can wear it on either wrist, has no problem playing music through my Airpods, I can control the music easily on the watch, after setup it re-syncs Spotify with no app needed. Just what I wanted. If you're a serious runner, don't waste your money on the Mighty. ... show more

This is an absolutely fantastic audio player! I immediately loved the purple color option—it's vibrant and fun. I purchased the Mighty 3 for my 13-year-old son so he could listen to music without needing a phone. We were impressed by its compact size, how easy it was to upload music, how much storage it offers, and how long the battery lasts. I also appreciate that it works with both Bluetooth and wired headphones. The sound quality is decent, but I do wish it had an equalizer setting to adjust things like bass and treble for a more customized listening experience. Also note that this only works with paid music subscriptions like Spotify Premium and Amazon Music Unlimited. Overall, it feels like a modern-day iPod and serves its purpose well.     • Great Concept, But The Product Fails Use Test. PLEASE GET Opal INSTEAD

Great Concept, Not So Great Technology. For me, the value of this product would have been having access to my spotify playlist while working out without the my phone, which can be a major distraction. However, this product simply has too many bugs which DIRECTLY frustrates its intended use. If you have ADHD like me and are having issues with focusing at the gym, i'd highly recommend just getting a focus app instead to temporarily block social media and internet browsing platforms (while keeping spotify and other non-distracting apps active) Now, what specifically are the issues with the product: For one, the set up is not intuitive and easy; in fact, it very trial and error dependent. I had to reboot my several times for the Mighty to properly pair with your phone. I also had to reboot my headphones as well for it to pair with the MIGHTY. The MIGHTY also must be connected to Wifi independently in the set up phase (it doesn't just pair with your phone like a Bluetooth device). So, if you happen to be at a place where you don't have WIFI, you won't be able to pair this device during that moment. Secondly, it stopped working properly LITERALLY after the second use....I'm not being hyperbolic when I say this thing stopped pairing properly with my bluetooth headphones on the second use. I was unable to fix this problem in spite of several reboots of the device, my phone AND my headphones. Moreover, it also interfered with my ability to pair my headphones WITH MY ACTUAL PHONE after I tried disconnecting my headphones from the MIGHTY and back to my phone so that I can just listen to my spotify playlist directly from my phone. Just get Opal or some other focus app for your regular phone. MIGHTY is great in concept, but this product seems to have been rushed and rolled out far too early; it needs to be developed further and PERFECTED FOR ITS INTENDED USE! ... show more

If you have the extra $130, just buy it. It's nostalgic in like a retro way, but still super functional. If you don't have a Spotify or Amazon Unlimited paid account, don't bother though. There are equally interesting and less expensive options. But if you love a good spotify playlist and you want music without wifi, 5G, or a phone... seems like you have to have a phone to load it... brilliant. You might notice it has some limitations. Another one is that you can't just put songs you own on it. Just Spotify and Amazon playlists/podcasts. And only if you pay subscriptions for them (even with Prime). And even then. Worth it. Like it sounds like I hate it, but I don't. It's just VERY specifically exactly what I wanted. Update: Syncing it can be a little finicky. It gets partially through and stops and I have to synch multiple times to get all of my playlist loaded. And sometimes it plays for a minute and just stops, but that might be something I'm doing "wrong". Update 2: I want to like it. Conceptually it's what I want. But it seems unfinished. The syncing is messy, it pops and clicks on playback both wired and bluetooth, it sometimes just stops playback randomly... I emailed support but it's basically just AI pasting bits of the manual in it's responses. I don't want to work that hard to get it to work. I might just repurpose an old apple watch. ... show more

Very cool product - super pleased so far with this. This was a Christmas gift for our 9 year old and it's been a HUGE hit. She listens to it with headphones plugged into the Mighty and also sometimes with a small JBL speaker via bluetooth. We have loved her being able to jam out and listen to what she wants without being tied to a screen. Set up took a little bit of time but was relatively easy to figure out. The app is not the most user friendly but I was able to figure things out without to much trouble. My one complaint is that the music you want to upload has to be in a Playlist you created yourself in Spotify. I haven't been able to upload albums or other people's playlists, I have to make them into my own and then it can be uploaded to the Mighty. Uploading music and connecting monthly for the required Spotify update only takes a few moments. We're not uploading massive amounts of music but the uploads/synching have gone very quickly. My daughter has had no issues figuring out the controls and uses it without any hiccups. The music quality seems perfect, no issues. No issues with the functioning of the device itself either, it's worked perfectly. Battery life is great. ... show more
