I've used tons of deep conditioners, this is the first one I washed out and actually NOTICED a difference. It's a staple now. I don't love the scent but I LOVE the product.

Has a nice fresh scent, but not too overpowering. I purchased this as part of the Curly Girl Method, as it was an "approved" product. I only use it every 2-3 weeks as a deep conditioning mask or when I use clarifying shampoo... it would be too much for me to use weekly. My hair is color treated, but not overly damaged as I do not use heat or straighten. I leave it on per instructions and it does the job. I feel it does not weigh my hair down, but my hair is definitely softer and I can get the tangles out. For reference I have 2b/2c/3a combo hair. I am low porosity and medium density for those aware of CGM. My hair is also very long with long layers. I feel for the price it's a good beginner's product. However, due to the length of my hair, I have to use a good bit of product and do not feel it will last me as long as someone with medium to short length hair. Pros: The product feels stimulating on my scalp, very cool and minty feeling, it seems to leave my hair very moisturized and i noticed less breakage Cons: The smell is 2/10, personally think it smells like a weird mix of toothpaste and mayonnaise. Has protein in it so you cannot use this very often
