Carrier is lightweight. I wanted that. My Chihuahua fits in (XS) it with room to spare. Great airflow through carrier. Unfortunately, the door falls off. Door is also difficult to open. One thinks “Ok, two latches on the same side, flip them directly forward and the door should open.” Nope. The door latches aren’t that simple nor is it easy to see when when they are open. They are, however, made of soft plastic. The weight of my 2 pound dog pushing up against the fully latched (Checked with a flashlight) door, caused the door to POP off dramatically. Not once. Not twice. Three times is one afternoon. Upshot, if you have a tiny dog that needs an unsecured sleeping cave, this will likely be a great choice. Simple assembly, rather clever design, but does require reinforcement x4 at the seam corners to secure top to bottom for safety/prevent opening. There are spots for reinforcement ties at these corners, which I would highly recommend to ensure no escape issues. Happy for the price.

my dog has been loving his new crate just wish the hardware was made a little better, seems that part may not last too long..

The media could not be loaded. My 4 pound puppy seems to have no issue with pooing and peeing in her crate. This has been going on for 6 months. Just nasty and I am exhausted from continual cleaning it. I take her out a lot and even in the middle of the night. Good thing shes beautiful because she isnt big on brains. It was suggested i get a smaller crate so i got this. Its really thin plastic and i wouldnt trust carrying her by this handle. And i hope she doesnt chew through it because if she decided she wanted to she totally could. Ill update if she does. Even if she decides nightly pooping on herself is just her thing, at least this small crate i can lift up to clean instead of having to kneel on the hard floor and stick my head in a poop crate 🤮. I feel so mean for putting her in it, but the poop explosion has to end. Wish me luck. ... show more

Very sturdy but door is hard to work. Pets get out if you dont slide door in the notches well enough.
