Description

The iCrate folding metal dog crate by MidWest Homes for Pets includes all of the features you will need to provide a convenient, safe & secure pet home for your best friend, from puppy to adulthood. This crate includes a divider panel allowing you to adjust the size of the living area as your puppy grows. The plastic leak-proof pan allows easy clean-up in the event of an accident. A strong plastic carrying handle is included for convenient portability, and rubber feet on the bottom of the crate protect the floors inside your home. We recently enhanced the safety and security of the iCrate by adding locking tips on the slide-bolt latches to securely lock the door and patented Paw Block, which prohibits your dog from tampering with the door lock from the inside. MidWest iCrate crates also feature patented rounded side clips that reduce possible sharp points to ensure a safe experience for you and your pet. Every iCrate metal dog crate conveniently folds down flat for travel. The 30" iCrate (model 1530DD) measures 30L x 19W x 21H inches and is suitable for "medium" dog breeds. Please note the term "medium” breed is subjective. For the best fit, we advise that you check the measurements of the dog crate and select a size that will be suitable for your dog's ADULT weight and measurements. Your dog should be able to comfortably sit upright, lay down, and easily turn around inside the crate. When in doubt, we suggest you purchase a larger crate option. We at MidWest Homes for Pets understand that your dog is a part of your family; that's why we ensure our dog crates are manufactured with the highest quality control standards to create a safe and secure home for your pet. Assembly and safety instructions are included; please read all safety instructions prior to use.

  • Excellent Kennel for Cats too!!
Size: 22-Inch w/ Divider Style: Single Door Pattern Name: 22-Inch w/ Divider
I bought the 22in crate months ago when my lil black panther kitty was a yr old, little did I know that he'd keep growing in size! :) So now I'm buying the 24in crate to give him more room when he misbehaves and playfully harasses his two older sisters (15 & 8 yrs old) and has more room on in his larger crate during his Kitty Jail Time. Please see tips below: 1. Please keep in mind, this crate is not for traveling or long term kenneling. Its good for overnight kenneling at home if you're training a dog, since dogs are alot stronger than cats and may try to escape from the crate/kennel. It's also good if you're fostering a pet(s). 2. To further secure the door, I suggest you put key clasps on it in the event the crate rolls over or your pet plays with the latch or is trying to do belly rolls. :) One time my lil panther got too playful in his Time Out session, the crate rolled and the latch came undone, it freaked him out. 3. Another important thing to keep in mind, your dog or cat will not escape by the tray sliding out & the crate collapses "IF" you have a "fitted" bed that grasps the edges of the tray. This a must, I got mine from Amazon when I bought the crates, its works wonders and very comfy, as well as easy to throw in the washer. Hope these tips work! ... show more

  • Great assembly instructions included
Size: 42-Inch w/ Divider Style: Double Door Pattern Name: 42-Inch w/ Divider
I purchased this crate to temporarily house my five baby chicks until they are approximately five months old. The height of the crate makes it possible to place a small stick through the back-to-front, wired, sides & create a roosting bar for them to perch on. I can raise the stick higher as the baby chicks grow larger. I love that the crate has two access doors. The feeder & waterer can be placed right in front of the door that’s located on the end of the crate, which allows easy access for refilling. This placement also gives more open space for the baby chicks to move about. The second door on the side of the crate made it easy to line the crate with a large piece of thin cardboard with folded sides to prevent scattering of the pine shavings used for the baby chicks bedding. The side door also makes it possible to reach in to pick up & remove the chicks. when needed. The side door also provides ease in cleaning the crate of poo & dirty pine shavings. Having the cover for the crate makes it possible to provide some darkness when needed. I highly recommend this crate for chicken use! 😄 ... show more

  • Durable, ready to use, and compact when you need it to be.
Size: 30-Inch w/ Divider Style: Double Door Pattern Name: 30-Inch w/ Divider
I have a new puppy that is larger than my last, so I needed a new crate. My other dogs have all been under 20 pounds. My new puppy who will be 35 pounds at maturity, was an eye opener. Not only is he larger, but he is, of course, stronger. So another molded plastic crate seemed like a less durable option. Not to mention the fact that plastic crates don't usually fold down for storage or travel very well. I was pleasantly surprised at how compact the shipping box was, making the kennel a little smaller than that. Once you figure out the clamps that hold it closed for shipping, are the same that secure the sides together, you're in business. It seems to be strong. Strong enough for a sometimes frustrated puppy to push his paws against and stay in position. I also purchased the kennel cover from the same company and I works wonderfully. The corners have velcro, allowing you to use either the side or end openings on the kennel, while keeping the other 3 sides of the cover down. Great purchase, that I would make again. 👌 ... show more

  • Surprisingly easy to fold up, but less so if you need to reinforce it
Size: 30-Inch w/ Divider Style: Single Door Pattern Name: 30-Inch w/ Divider
I was surprised at how easily the cage could be collapsed for travel, and the carrying handle could easily be moved for carrying it either while assembled or folded up. If your dog likes to batter his way out of cages, though, then you'll want to buy a couple Dollar Tree (Dollar-Twenty-Five Tree) packs of black plastic zip-ties. We put one at each corner and two along each side, and so there was simply no way our puppy was getting out without permission (or worse, jamming his head through a corner and strangling himself). We did need to clip several of the zip ties to fold the cage up for a trip (the car was too full of other stuff, or we would have just left the cage assembled), but not all of them, as some of the zip ties (along the edge that didn't physically separate) simply acted as extra hinges. Note: trimming zip ties can leave sharp edges, so after cutting them short with scissors or diagonal cutters you may want to use a pair of nail clippers to trim them flush with the lock, leaving only a tiny, smooth, rounded amount still protruding. ... show more
