  • My All Time Favorite Dish Rack
Color: White
I use my rack on my counter next to my double sink as pictured. What I like: 1) Durable Plastic that easily comes apart for a quick rinse and dry 2) The utensil holder can be placed anywhere. It has large drain holes so doesn’t hold water and collect gunk. Utensils dry quickly 3) The drain board can be expanded. It does have a “catch” so you won’t accidentally pull the two pieces apart 4) The ribbing in the front half are well made so things stay where you put them instead of sliding down 5) The circular “drain” button is raised to allow water to run out the spout. It can be pulled up with a bit of a tug to clean so mildew doesn’t start growing but do it carefully. Look for the holes to reinsert 5) I put the front feet over the side of the sink as pictured to give more of a slant allowing more water to drain. *Nothing I don’t like. I’m 70 years old and this is the best drain board I’ve ever had. Dishes dry quickly. Easy to take apart to occasionally clean. Best of all no more gunk and mildew buildup and no rusting😀 ... show more

  • Expandable and versatile.
Color: White
I am very happy with my drainer. It’s cute and expandable and keeps my clean dishes off the counter where I used to dry them on a drying pad only. It’s easy to stack dishes on there as you wash and I love that the utensil tray is moveable. I do have some regrets though. I thought the white and green looked clean and fresh. But with the water in my area I’m afraid it may end up not so bright white like I like. That aside, it does add great color to the sink area. But If I bought it again, I would go for the stainless. Beware: I do love being able to expand it when I need to and it was one of the features that sold me. But, when you slide it out you have to be careful or it separates completely. I mean it’s easy enough to remedy but I thought it was connected better. Also, if your sink has a raised edge like mine, it will not be at the proper angle to drain. I placed a green (that matches) three-ring binder under it to help give it the proper slope to drain and it’s been great. It would have been nice if the back legs were longer than the front to give it the angle naturally without assistance but it was easy to remedy. All In all I think it’s a great drainer. I was hesitant to buy at first due to the cost and almost just grabbed one at TJ Maxx or somewhere but I really liked the idea of expansion and couldn’t find anything like this at a bargain price. If this lasts long enough it will be worth the price for sure because it very much suits my needs. ... show more

  • Looks nice & is better than metal
Color: Sky
I really like the color of this dish rack & the size (esp being able to widen it when I use it on the counter) & the fact that the body is plastic. I’ve had metal strainers so many times & they always eventually rust. This has a metal piece but it’s covered in rubber on the ends & I think that will cut down on the likelihood of rusting (but I do keep mine in my gigantic sink 99% of the time so it’s always wet…) The only that’s kind of annoying is when it’s closed, it’s nice & sturdy, but sliding it open, it often falls into two pieces because there’s no catch or anything like that, so it’s awkward moving it out of or into the sink. But it’s not a big deal, just have to remember to hold onto it so it doesn’t split in two & fall. I def LOVE the drain spout thingy for the few times I do need to place it on my counter, it works really well. ... show more

  • Compact, cute and it works when the drain and spout stay on..
Color: White
I really like this drainer, it has saved me a ton of laundry everyday. I have 3 small dogs who use a lot of dishes at meal time. I don't put their stuff in the dishwasher, I wash it by hand 3 times per day. I went through a mountain of dish towels...bought this rack and my laundry has dropped considerably !! I like the rack so much I'm going to order another one for the motorhome. What I'm washing is mainly small stuff, so no complaints there, the color is fine for me..guess I'm not picky. It's a drainer and it works for me. Thanks Amazon!! Ok, I'm re-reviewing this item. I have used it quite a bit, and while I'm not picky about color and some of the other things people complained about, I am picky when it comes to durability. My spout to drain water, and the button on top are off more than the are on. This cheeses me off. I paid more than I usually do for a drainer and I really do expect quality. I probably wont be getting a second one for my motorhome. Too bad, I wanted to really like this item. ... show more

  • Minimal design, clean looks, easy to keep clean
Color: White
We did not purchase this dish drainer for its expandability. We leave it fully expanded all the time. We like it because it is low profile, has a minimal presence on our countertop, has a clean, modern design and is easy to clean. Down side- we don't love the lime green accent and wish Joseph Joseph would make one in all white and one in all white with grey accents, i.e. more neutral. Also, one that expands further (maybe three parts) Key for us is having space to dry many pots and pans. This doesn't hold as many pots and pans as our previous simple human stainless drainer, but we like that it's less noticeable in our open kitchen/living/dining space and easier to clean. The drainage is not perfect and water will sit for some time in the section near the drain plug. ... show more

  • Gets the job done
Color: White
I had an old plastic dish rack (think it was Sterlite's rack after a quick search) and I didn't like how awkward it was to clean. After it cracked, I looked up this brand since I like some of the other Joseph Joseph products I bought in the past. While a bit smaller than my old one, it's versatility more than makes up for it. I like how I can arrange my dished how I want. It allows for easier cleanup of things like my cutting boards and my pizza peel. One thing I will say is it'll sometimes leak a bit when you expand the rack to allow for more space. Not a deal breaker, but just wanted to point that out. ... show more
