This toaster oven was way down the list when I went searching for a new one. I had two previously- Farberware and Hamilton Beach. This Midea is definitely my favorite. The French doors open with one hand. It heats nicely. My favorite feature is the control panel. When you’re toasting bread, it tells you how much time is left. It has a reheat option which bypasses the preheating to get right to cooking. You can mute the beeping of the buttons. It has a light inside that you can turn on and off or use auto settings. I rely heavily on reviews when making a purchase over $100 or so, this little oven does it all. I can't tell you the last time I turned on my oven. I toast, air fry and bake in it....it is delicious as iff all the preparations were done the traditional way. I am purchasing another for my 91 year old mother, so she doesn't have the move around the kitchen so much. The measurements are accurate and fit well and attractive on my countertop. What a durable and convenitent little addition to my kitchen! I have not had one issue with it. The other reviews states it gets hot if you stand in front of it, but I have not had that issue. The Midea Flexify Classic French Door Toaster Oven Air Fryer Combo has quickly become a favorite in my kitchen. Its elegant stainless steel French-door design looks great on the countertop and allows easy access without reaching over a hot door. The 26.4-quart capacity is spacious, fitting a 12-inch pizza, multiple slices of toast, or a full family meal. With 10 cooking functions—including air fry, bake, roast, broil, toast, reheat, dehydrate, and warm—it can replace several small appliances. The manufacturer also claims it cooks up to 25% faster while using up to 90% less oil when air frying. (Midea) What impressed me most is its even cooking. Air-fried foods come out crispy outside and tender inside, while baked items brown nicely. It heats quickly, the digital controls are easy to use, and cleanup is simple with the removable crumb tray and included accessories. My only suggestion is to spend some time learning cooking times and rack positions, as they differ from a conventional oven. Once familiar, the results are excellent. Overall, this is an attractive, well-designed, and highly functional countertop oven. If you want a toaster oven, air fryer, and convection oven in one, the Midea Flexify is an excellent value.     • Watch out for cord behind airfry.

Air fryer is a bit bigger then my old one. However the basket is much smaller and needs to sit,on a,tray or rack. I could only fit two quarters chicken legs in basket. The body of the fryer does get very hot to the touch on outside. I'm worried about the cord that was designed to be at the top of the back airfry causing the cord to be close or touching the back and possibly melting the cord. Otherwise the fryer is easy to use,and works,good. ... show more

Would chose 0 stars if it was an option. I guess the 1 star covers that it looks to be a pretty oven and it is supposed to provide so many cooking options. However, it is not a good product. Firstly, the package was too light for an oven that provides so many cooking methods. That was the first clue that it was a cheaply made product. Then when unpacked, the right side door was slightly ajar & wobbly when closed. Also, there was no sealer than runs inside along all sides of the doors, only partially along the top was there a flimsy thin rubber tube that was spliced. There is also a significant gap between the french doors which also hinted that a lot of heat would be escaping when cooking. (visible in the pics) I followed the instructions to run the oven on bake for a preliminary 15 minutes to "burn off excess oils". So much heat was emitted; every side of the machine got excessively hot; front, sides, top & back. The front was expected cause of the french doors gap & barely a seal. But also not surprising from all other sides which are metal (no heat resistant coating) with only some ventilation on the left & right side. When I detected a slight chemical odor during this baking session, I got worried as I did not see any smoke or substances from the front. I decided to carefully pull out the devise to check the back; this is where I found the electric cord beginning to melt. (see pictures) Unfortunately, they placed the cord dangling from near the center top, instead of a corner like my microwave & old toaster oven. I went to turn the device off and wound up burning my finger because all the buttons & knob are also made of metal. If this occurred with only a 15 minute run, there is no way this machine can be used for a lengthy time. Imagine what could have happened if I had not stayed to monitor the devise.     • It does everything I wanted in a toaster oven.

Wow this is so much better than my old toaster oven. It heats up quickly and works beautifully. Now I haven't done a lot yet since I just got it but so far it's been perfect to use. It's big enough for a pizza, a chicken, and maybe even a turkey breast cone thanksgiving. It doesn't heat up my entire kitchen either. I live the knobs instead of having digital dials. The digital dials have always been difficult for me to use. This is so easy, turn the knob to bake, air fry, pizza etc setting, press the knob in for time, and hit start. Easy to see your food cooking with the interior lights. The doors open together giving you plenty of room to put your food in or take out. The overall appearance is so nice too all stainless steal. Not a huge footprint on my counter. Just love everything about it. My fridge is a Midea and that works well so when I saw this oven I had to buy it. I know the quality of Midea and trust this oven should last me a long while. Great buy... ... show more
