It’s very easy to install, came in with various window adapter pieces so I didn’t even need to cut it. The tapes and blots came w it are also handy at securing window piece and sealing the window. The AC unit itself looks stylish and works quite well, is able to cool down a large room. It has wheels underneath which makes it easy to move. This portable air conditioner is amazing!!! It was super easy to set up and it is very lightweight. There are so many options and functions that you can adjust based on your preference!! The best part is that it isn’t loud at all. The design is also really nice.     • Trips the electrical outlet turning itself off. Never goes lower than 77 in the room

Don't do it. It doesnt cool that well, the internal thermostat is wrong and it tripped my breaker several times and turns off. At this point its dangerous to use when Im not at home and it turns off while Im away and cant be turned backnon remotely as it trips the electrical breaker. Also the internal thermostat is wrong and lower than all 5 if my thermometers. It never cools to anything less than 777 or 78 degrees. If I set the ac for anytging 73 or less if will never get there and just constantly run and when it dies get there its because the thermostat is wrong. I tried troubleshooting and it tried to tell me to calibrate by ither thermometers. Unfortunately the return window is small so Im out over 400 dollars. I can't sell it it knowing these things. Ive had it a month and half. Waste of money as it doesnt cool to less than 77 degrees and my room is 225 sq ft and this ac is for 450 sq ft. Not happy. ... show more

Man, this thing will run you out of a room. It puts out a lot of air and it’s ice cold. It is rather large and heavy, but that’s a small price to pay for exceptional quality. Money well spent.

This portable air conditioner is really great. It’s very quiet for this size, doesn’t disturb at all, and it cools the room super fast—within just 5 minutes, the room feels really refreshing. The best part is it comes with the window part for our window. Easy to set up.

I purchased this due to it's high BTU rating(14000), as I live upstairs in an open loft. While it blows cold, as they all do, my complaint is the flap that controls air flow. I can't seem to find the "sweet spot" where I can feel the air throughout the day/night. What a goofy design. Why would the air flap that oscillates up and down, fully open to blow air directly up? I suppose that would make sense for a unit that is placed on a first floor and would be reasonable to want air reaching up to higher floors? Of course, you can set the air control flap to move or remain stationary, but I cannot feel the air, it seems to vanish within feet of walking away from it. Furthermore, this unit struggles to maintain 75 degrees in the room, while on high. Although, I do live in a humid climate. I have a 5 gallon bucket that constantly needs emptying every morning and evening. I'd definitely recommend a massive catch pan with the condensation hose hooked up at all times to prevent mold growth. Lastly, the opening where the air blows through, is sealed plastic on one side and so the air is only blowing out of half the air port. Makes little sense, but I'm not an engineer. (Picture included) of the vent opening only have an air port open on the left side.. The remote isn't too responsive, either or reactive. There's a tiny icon on the display screen of the remote that I assume tells when the remote is on/off. I've had a Delonghi (10000 BTUs) for 22 years! And it was less BTUs, in the same room and worked just fine until the motor crapped out. Noise level is actually decent and about the same as old 10000 BTU unit. Coming back to this review a few months later. It's still working just fine. I forgot to mention, in my opinion, the biggest flaw. When turned on, the air flap defaults to point straight up and stays in that position! If you turn it on in a hurry, and walk away, for instance, it's going to blow the air directly straight into the sky! It doesn't even move up and down when turned on. You must set it to either move and fan up and down or set it to where you think it's suitable for good air movement and stop it. Goofy! ... show more
