I love this portable air conditioner because it can be remotely controlled via a mobile app! I put it in my child’s room and can easily set the temperature and time, which is very convenient! It doesn’t make much noise when running and the cools down quickly. It’s tall but not wide, so it doesn’t take up too much space. I’m currently in a 2-story rental unit and unfortunately the 2nd floor doesn’t get good cooling. I invested in this portable AC unit and my rooms have stayed much cooler since then! It is a little on the louder side, but I’ve gotten used to the noise since then. I’ve had to drain the water only once since getting it, and that was after about a month and a half of on-and-off use (I only got about a cup of water out of it). The size isn’t too bad either, about standard for an ac unit. It was pretty simple to install, although the directions could get a little confusing at first. This portable air conditioner has truly been a game-changer for me. I was hesitant at first because I didn’t want a bulky unit hanging out of my window, so I decided to try a portable AC—and I’m so glad I did! It's a quality AC and I'm happy that it's not hanging outside. I can easily move it from room to room as needed. The only downside I found was that it needs to be drained periodically. At first, I used a tube connected to a large container, which wasn’t visually appealing and required me to remember to empty it constantly. However, I had a contractor install a longer tube that drains directly through the corner of my floor to the laundry room sink, which solved the issue. The media could not be loaded. I’ve been running the unit for about a month, and up until yesterday I would’ve said it’s flawless. But to my surprise I came home to a pretty large puddle under the unit. As advertised the unit does also dehumidify, but again for the past month there had been no sign of moisture and I also never turned on a dehumidification option. Granted we got a bit of a heatwave. I was taken back that there was no auto shut off when the tank was full like any other dehumidifier i’d ever seen before does. So I did hook up the included drain hose and ran it into a 5 gallon bucket expecting since in the last month it never happens that would be sufficient. But again to my surprise I came home from work today to an overflowing bucket and even more water on the floor. My floor is now damaged. I modified the window bracket to run the tube through and put the unit on a platform to allow the water to drain straight out. The other problem is the unit appears to be struggling to keep up with the temperature outside (90f). The room has not dropped below 72-75. I even got a notification from the device that it “appeared to be cooling inefficiently”. Edit: Dropping from 3 stars to 1 star. I dealt with the companies customer service directly and was promised a refund for the unit rather than them repairing it. They have failed to follow through. Lost money. I would absolutely not recommend this to anybody after my experience. ... show more

This unit works great. We use it in a small bedroom and it keeps it cool with ease. We don’t even need to put it on high. I have the drain set up to drain into a small bucket. I haven’t used the internal tank so I cannot comment on how it works. I do know we have to dump the bucket out on a fairly regular basis when it’s humid out, but it’s not a big deal. As far as I’m concerned, this is an incredibly effective ac unit and can’t be beat for the price. ... show more

The design is sleek and it can fit well in tight spaces. Much easier to install than their U window units. Construction is ok, typical plastic exterior. Cools well, but wish I could adjust fan speed on auto mode. Wifi connection is always a nice tool to manage scheduling. Unfortunately, the compressor is loud. Much louder than advertised. Even with low fan cool mode it was between 62-66 db noise level (compressor running). Very noticeable when compressor kicks on, not smooth. Would be too loud for normal size bedroom. ... show more
