I love this chair - it's just cozy enough for me to sit and read in. I'm petite and like to curl my legs up in the chair, but I think a bigger person would also find this chair comfortable. It has basic support but it might be iffy over 250 lbs or so. One caveat - my cat loves the upholstery on it as much as I did and scratched it all up. it is (was) a nice fabric covering but lesson learned, I'm getting scratch guards too late. However the fabric quality is good as is the wood. It has a simple but elegant look that fits in any room.

This chair feels very sturdy and looks nice. The wood tone had a bit more red to it than I expected based on the listing photos, but I am happy with the quality for the price. Easy to assemble as well. Some of the included plastic screw caps were loose but I fixed that with a little bit of wood glue.

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: The company has made good on this chair. All issues have been resolved in a timely manner! 100% recommend this chair and company. As you can see it is BEAUTIFUL. And with this level of customer service... I am just baffled. Wow. Thank you so much! Above and Beyond! Overall: Beautiful chair. Much higher quality softness than expected and looks amazing in my home studio. I am so pleased with this interaction I just had to update this with 5 stars! More companies should be like this! --- Original Review ---- Sadly after tossing the box and thinking I had finished assembling the chair, I realized there was a major fault: the threading that holds the screw in on the leg had fallen INTO the chair back. I contacted customer support and they can't accept a return if I don't have the box... so I am stuck with a bum leg on the chair sadly. They said they will send me the a replacement threading, but I don't have much hope for it, since if the other one fell into the chair, that probably means the hole is stripped and a new one will just fall in too. Soooooooooo yeah, nice looking, very comfy, but brand new and already broken. Don't know how long it will hold up with the bum screw on that one side. Sucks. Will update when I get the new screw if it works or not. Also they dropped the price 15 $ after purchase and did refund the difference so that was nice.

I encountered a couple glitches when assembling the chair. I emailed the customer service email that was on the service card included in the box. Customer service responded promptly with proposed solutions. I received a second chair a few days later, at no extra charge. When assembling that chair, I encountered some difficulty getting one of the screws to go in. Took me a bit to realize that the threads in the screw were compressed. Fortunately, I had kept parts from the first chair, and I was able to switch out the screw. The chair is a little tricky to assemble. You have to have all the holes lined up just right. Helps to have a flashlight on hand. Successfully assembling the chair was time consuming for me, but I figure, I either pay with more time or more money. I think the chair is an excellent value for the price. It looks nice. And most importantly for my purposes, a client who perhaps weighs 400-500 pounds will be able to sit comfortably.

Overall an okay chair. Once built it is much heavier than you’d think, seems solid enough to last a few years for sure. Unfortunately mine arrived with a crack on the front bar that goes under the seat, the seller very quickly offered to replace bar for free or return the item. I chose to return the item, because as I was building it, I noticed the stain was a bit off, and looked ‘stripy,’ and it had a strange semi-cloudy overall finish on the piece that felt kind of like wax. Didn’t want to risk keeping it and later on finding out the finish is cracking off, or turns even cloudier with use. Perhaps it would have been fine, and it was just the one chair I received that was a bit off. I did sit in it briefly and the cushion was quite comfortable, and fit nicely in the corner I had planned to place it in. I also thought the chair was overly wide in my opinion, and not as streamlined as you’d imagine mid-century modern furniture to be, looked a bit bulky.

Ordered couch and chair combination. Received chair only. Contacted seller, who responded quickly, said couch was on the way, and gave me a tracking number for somebody else’s order! I told them they sent me the wrong tracking number, and have yet to receive a response back. Quite a shame. Chair is pretty nice. Well made for the price point and went together easily. But until my issue is resolved this is 1 star for me. Quite frustrating.

I bought this for a specific location and it matched exactly the - colors are true to the picture. While assembling I had one part with defective manufacturing and while customer service was slow to get back to me - it was several days they stand behind their product and were willing to replace immediately send a picture of the defective part - they ship a new one. I love the wide deep seat and the sturdy construction. Great product in spite of defective -parts issue.
