I bought several sets of these a few months ago to pack up my library because we are building a house and moving. I wanted to make sure I had them for when I was ready to start packing. I have a bunch of broken totes and I’m pissed. Unfortunately, I waited too long to open the boxes since I wasn’t ready to pack yet and now I can’t return them. I have a huge in home library and will need many dozen more of these types of boxes but I won’t be buying this brand again. This isn’t the first time this happened but I was able to return them before because I bought them the last time we moved. Those worked great but this batch seems to be made a lot cheaper and are real flimsy. Even the seal in the lids of this batch are really loose. I’m not sure my books will make it in storage with this bunch. I have tens of thousands of books to pack up and now I need to find another company that hopefully makes a better product. When I first found these in 2020, they were really sturdy and worked great to protect my books for a cross country move. In 2025, as cheap as they are made, I’ll be lucky to make it from the house to the moving truck without them falling apart. I’m really disappointed that the quality has gotten so poor. ... show more

These Iris/Igloo storage bins stack nicely, have a tight-fitting lid, have lid clamps that seem to work well, and are a nice size for many products. Their generally square-corner design means they hold more or waste less space than many storage bins of similar size. I like the gasket around the lid, which provides a seal. I don't know how long the gasket will last, but under hot, cold, or normal conditions I would expect several to a number of years of durability from the material. It is possible to get the lid-clamping handles to "pop" off, but with a little patience, they can be reattached. Lid clamps on all storage bins are a weak link; however, the design of these handles seems better than many I've used in the past. All plastic storage bins have a finite life; however, some bins have greater utility than others. Many bins taper so much from top to bottom that what they will hold is compromised. Some bins when stacked slide every direction. These bins have relatively straight sides, and when stacked they stay in place (although I'm sure in a vehicle with fast corning they will slide). Plastic storage bins don't have the durability of steel bins with durable lid-clamping handles. What they do have is a price point that makes them affordable for many uses, unlike steel bins. These Iris/Igloo storage bins are priced well for their quality. They aren't the cheapest bins, but they certainly aren't prohibitively expensive. I do delivery for Spark sometimes and they recently said that they won't give orders unless they're in a tote in my car (they're wishy washy at my store). No biggie, I just needed to find totes that were the right dimensions for the trunk of my Ford Escape. After researching the deminsions of the trunk, I decided I needed totes that made the best use of the space and fit. I also decided that to make deliveries easier, I wanted the totes to have wheels. Its easier to roll 2 40 packs of water to someone's door than it is to carry them. These absolutely do not disappoint! They are lightweight but are thick and feel very durable. We used them when we went camping and you can fit a case of water and bunch of groceries in one and still last the lid! They are great for organizing large spark orders in my trunk and definitely make deliveries easier for me. They are weatherproof as stated, the locking lids are perfect but I find the latches come off too easy so I don't use them especially when making deliveries. They are bit on the pricier side but since I had very specific dimensions in mind, I didn't mind paying more. They are deeper than I thought they'd be as well, but I do wish the handle was just a little bit longer because it feels like im tipping it too far up when wheeling it around. Customers always comment on how smart and easy they are when I deliver. Especially when they can just roll the tote inside and put everything close to where they need it and then bring it back to me at the door. ... show more

Poor quality, arrived broken. See pictures. Buy other products that have more robust tabs on locking bars. These are very thin and not long enough. Several bars were loose from breaking off and I had to reassemble gently to keep from breaking off tabs. Can't return due to costing me to travel to return site. Stuck with them. ... show more

Product was great. Packaging less so. For the use I had in mind (storing t-shirts in a closet with insufficient drawer space) these boxes worked fine. I would be concerned for strength and brittleness of the plastic for anything heavier, as even shipping cracked some plastic and broke peg off of lid closures. ... show more
