Yes it says Mariachi, but don’t let that turn you off from this horn. The reverse lead pipe gives an incredibly open feel to the horn and helps relieve pressure in the upper register. The valves are effortless and respond so nicely. The bronze bell gives such a warmth to the tone. It can play really intimately but also if you put lots of air into it, it has a brilliance to the tone that is wonderful. The response for quick double or triple tonguing is spot on. The partials all slot nicely and the tuning is great. Not to mention the artistry involved in the engraving; stunningly beautiful!
