The wiring and XBox are in great shape and the XBox works great. The controller however has issues. The right joystick keeps straying its direction on its own, but I have extras.

Im half American/British and just moved back to the states after 7 years away. I needed a new console so decided to go with the cheaper option and got an Xbox over PS. The Xbox was supposed to come Aug 1st but it didn't show up till Aug 7th. It's not the sellers fault as it was an issue with USPS but still was annoying. As for the console itself, it works great. It came with a power and HDMI cord so was able to quickly set it up. Bought GTA to go with it and it read the disc fine and promptly downloaded the game. Also you get the first month of Game Pass Ultimate for just $1 if you are making an Xbox account for the first time. I definitely recommend this if you are looking for a more cheaper option but want a good working system. ... show more

    • Very disappointed
The most disappointing purchase I have made on Amazon. I purchased it for my son for his birthday knowing it was refurbished however based on the description operationally it should be like new or if the box. When trying to hook it up I noticed the power cord that goes to the power supply had 2 ports to plug into but the supply needed 3. I did a little research and found one at Best Buy that was compatible and works but for an additional $15 out of my pocket. I turned the counsel on and the power supply's fan fan was abnormally noisy for about a minute, almost as though it had to get warmed up to operate properly and then quieted down. While hiking up everything in back I obviously had the counsel turned 90 degrees to see what I needed to plug in. After it appeared to finally be working I moved it horizontal to the TV and lost signal. The HDMI port within the counsel is loose. My thoughts were if I can get it where it needs to be and not move it is refurbished you get what you get. Then I tried to sync the controller to the counsel and yet another failure. I tried many different suggestions from YouTube videos and nothing has worked. I myself am very disappointed with having to spend my evening trouble shooting a product that should be as brand new but what's what's worse is my child's disappointment. ... show more
