    • DO NOT PURCHASE AT ANY COST!!!
I received my Surface today. 25 minutes later.... the machine started to get extremely warm and screen started to flicker, making it excruciated to read. There is something called "Flickergate" and this was a common issue with Microsoft Surface Pro 4's. I learned it was so bad Microsoft has a free replacement program IF (and only if) you bought it through a Microsoft Authorized dealer. Amazon Renew Shop is not... and by the way this product does NOT come from Amazon. (It comes through an unknown 3rd party seller) So instead of shipping it back today to get the process rolling, I get.. a potential 48 hour wait time to be contacted to start the process. No bueno, no bueno. Had I known the product was NOT coming from Amazon, I would have passed. I have a strong suspicion what's going on here. Looks good after 5-10 minutes it passes without botherin it, but put it through some web browsing or updates, boom!!! PASS AT ALL COSTS....Just Google the product name followed by FLICKERGATE. This computer has been amazing! Love the touch screen as I use it everyday. Took a bit to setup everything to my liking, but worth the purchase. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it’s a little little slower than what I would prefer. We have already purchased two of these. The next one I purchased will be the upgraded version. The size is great as it’s not as big as a regular computer but larger than an iPad. Perfect for work or school! ... show more

This computer was “refreshed” using windows 11 which is not compatible with this machine. Do your own homework on this. Windows 10 is not compatible with longer supported by Microsoft, so I understand why they did this, but now there are other issues with functionality. New updates cause the video drivers to crash causing fading, pulsing, and shadowing on the screen. I’ve reached out to the seller for options, but have not heard back yet. ... show more

So far so good. Battery charges 100% and it’s fast for being 10 years old. Super fast delivery and item is not immaculate because has a little scuffle in the back here and there but it’s about 98 % percent pristine.
