When I tried to set up my surface pro, the screen would not respond half of the time. I could not set up the computer because of it. When I called the xompany, they referred me to YouTube and Google for answers. After trying both tools, I still could not get my computer to respond nor set it up, so I returned it. I paid $900 and was only refunded $leas than $700. That is quite the restocking fee, if that’s why I didn’t get my full refund. It is not my fault that the refurbished computer was still not up to par. I plan on messaging the retailer to find out what’s up! ... show more

I was going to return the surface pro because they used Fedex as their delivery partner, and as expected, it didn’t arrive on time. In the end I accepted delivery anyway. As far as I can tell, I received a brand new unit. It came in what looked like factory packaging that hadn’t had the seal broken. I can’t imagine getting any “renewed” product in better shape. Time will tell on how it holds up, but as far I can tell I got a new unit at renewed pricing. I will not hold the seller responsible for any Microsoft shortcomings.
